I did as well, and we both enjoyed it. Part nostalgia, part commercial, part behind the scenes tidbits - and for the record, I’m generally fond of Whoopi. She’s not looking so healthy, though.

I think my favorite Disney show like this was the PBS American Experience show.

First movie was Finding Nemo on DVD. He was house sitting for a relative and they had it. He had seen it before and liked it, I hadn’t seen it yet. Thus began the “oh, you like Disney?” conversation.

First movie in a theater I can’t remember.

First date was Mother’s Day (we had met the Thursday before.) It was at a diner after I got out of work (low commitment!) But he showed up early at the gay bar where I was pouring drinks - in “old lady drag.” (Hey, holiday costumes are good for tips!)

I would learn the significance of the date because his Mom had passed away a few years prior and he was pretty broken up about it ever since. He felt it was a sign, like she had something to do with bringing us together, and that allowed him to be happy again.

Wrong answer.
OMG! YESSS!!!!!!!!! The PBS AE was fantastic
We saw Finding Nemo in the theater with the kids
The Mets were my teenage rebellion

Just arrived to the Orlando!

All is good!

We got some surprises but the crew of United despite the plane being packed, shuffled around seats for family..etc.. and we got better views and windows..

I'm now at the Rosen Inn near Disney Springs.

last day at Houston went well.

Calibration went well , went with my aunt to see her, we talked all we could, had a very good burger.
Then my cousin drove us to the airport.
Only bad thing is, I lost my glasses lol.
Im going to have to buy ones near Disney.

Well that sounds a lot better!!

(Yet, how in heck did you lose your eyeglasses? :( ) Do you only wear them for reading, for example, and not full-time? If you don't wear them all the time, I could see how you might put them down someplace, and then forget to take them with you. I find that travelling is distracting from our usual routines, and it's not uncommon for people to forget or lose things, when they're away on a trip.

Hope you can get a nice pair of eyeglasses fairly quickly, that aren't too expensive.
X2, have fun and don't forget the food pics

Am I the only person who misses law away? https://www.msn.com/en-us/lifestyle...-rid-of-this/ss-AAP4BYw?ocid=msedgntp#image=1 Some years it was nice to do with larger gifts until I could clear out a space to hide them also the first bike I bought myself was purchased that way.
I don't have a Walmart near me, so don't shop at one.

But I read that their layaway program was a blessing for some families, who could pay off a bit each month for their holiday shopping presents. Don't know why Walmart would discontinue that program. (I also recall some news reports from the past few holiday seasons, where a nice person would (donate) pay off the remaining balances, to help families in need. That happened in a few different locations.)

My local Hallmark store still has layaway. You can use it to pre order ornaments and they'll hold them until mid December and you can do a regular layaway on some of their pricey items as they carry an assortment of Jim Shore pieces and some fancy vases

Minor gripe, and certainly doesn’t lead to any loss of sleep for me, but, if you’ve been playin’ football since you were probably about 3 or 4 and are good enough to eventually make it to the NFL to be a starter, how do you not know that an actual tackle consists of wrapping your arms around the opponent and driving/throwing them into the ground as hard as you can (and stomping their face :D;)), and not simply bumping into them hard and hoping they drop…?!?!?!:banghead::cyclops:

I mentioned before about when I did my monthly shopping for my Residential Care Home, and I had a band of three or four pushing carts in toward the registers. I think I could have, at times, watched the color fade from their faces. However, that was for 15 people.
I may have also brought my coupon book for a sale plus coupon stock up. :angelic:
