The vendor you got your fudge from is the same one I got the Wisconsin State Fair. I did not get any with nuts though. I first bought fudge from Sherwood's fabulous fudge at the Wisconsin State fair in 2019.

They're bits of fried dough. They're really, really delicious. Different restaurants in the south have different recipes, so they're all slightly different. Some people eat them with butter; I think they're sweet enough to be eaten without anything at all.

Interesting. I guess it's like Clam cakes without the clams. Though there is less clams in them with prices rising

Heck, I didn't think you could be more of a northerner then 20 miles from the Canadian border but I have always known what Hushpuppies were. Plainly stated just fried dough. Done here I have found many shapes but they all tasted pretty much the same to me.

Oh, I know what Cornhole is....I meant is the Cornhole TOURNAMENT an American thing....I have never seen it played in competition here. It's more considered a children's game.

We watched the Dallas Cowboys vs. the LA Chargers earlier today, and Dallas squeaked by 20-17 with a last second field goal.
I wasn’t even doin’ any of the sportsing, but, was worn out by the end of that game…!!!!!

The ones they have at our local Catfish Parlour are excellent, especially with their jalapeño tartar (behind the regular tartar in the pic below) dipping sauce…!!!!!
