Our pup Hershey had an emergency visit to the vet yesterday. Tigger, one of our cats, got a bit rambunctious and clawed him and scratched his eyeball. Poor guy was so nervous at the vet that he had diarrhea and some landed on the tech. 😬 They put a dye in his eye and took some pics and sent them to an ophthalmologist. They think it is just a scratched cornea. Hopefully that is all it is. He is on antibiotics and eyedrops. We go back tomorrow. Ironically I set up our dogs’ checkups for tomorrow last week.

Oh no! That's awful. :( I hope Hershey will be o.k., and is not in any pain.

He seems to be ok today. You know what is funny. He is a barky dog by nature. He barks at anything, even me making a knocking noise on a table. Whenever we go to the vet though he is as quiet as a mouse and doesn’t bark at anyone. He behaves like the most perfect pet. Everyone loves him there.

First of all, so happy to hear that he seems a bit better today.

I had to laugh about his modified "behavior" at the vet. My dog, who's normally a stubborn, headstrong brute, wimps out at the vet. He may growl and all, but he also has "panic poop" (I just made up that vetrinary term :joyfull: ) -- he "projects" it all over the exam room!! No, I'm not kidding!! He has a meltdown every time he has to go there. I feel bad for the vet staff, having a major cleanup after he leaves. :jawdrop:

I like “panic poop” as a term. I will be using that. 🤣

I have either an Epson or Canon, but I haven't been able to use it in YEARS. It's one of those scanner/printer/copiers, BUT it has the ink cartridges that are all attached to each other, so you can't just change one, you have to change the whole thing, and the cartridges cost almost as much as the whole printer. AND, when the ink is low, it also won't scan. It tells you that you have to replace the ink cartridge before you can scan anything, even though scanning doesn't involve the use of ink. It was relatively new, but we printed my choir music on it or something, so it ran out of ink really quickly, and then it just wouldn't do anything, and my husband can print things out at work. So we never replaced the ink cartridge and it just sits there collecting dust, and any time I need something printed, I have to either take it to the grocery store and pay 10-50 cents per copy, or wait for a day or two for my husband to be in the office to print it there.
Mine has individual color cartridges. It is good because over all it saves me a lot of money over my original HP. I know that I use black ink faster then color so I buy an extra single black and then they both both run out at approximately the same time. Then I replace it with a full set and one extra black refill and I'm good for 6 to eight months. The sad thing is that just days before my HP bought the farm, I had replaced the ink cartridges at the cost of $120.00. This one, full set plus one extra black is $87.

He wasn't like this when they got married! Apparently people change between age 25 and 61. 😅 Although he did do some weird things in his youth, like he refused to wear shorts in the summer. He wore cordoroy. Now, he did outgrow that. He wears shorts and I have never seen him in cordoroy.
Referencing people changing between 25 and 61. Find something to hang on to kid. It's going to be a bumpy ride. The only way not to change is to die. Even my kids ask me why the hell I married "their mother". Well, for one thing if I hadn't this discussion wouldn't be happening because they wouldn't exist and second, for the one millionth time.. SHE WASN'T LIKE THAT WHEN WE GOT MARRIED. People change sometimes for the better and sometimes not. As far as fashions are concerned, take a lot of selfies because someday you will want to see what you wore when you were young and then you will take all of those pictures and have a bonfire or get finger cramps deleting them all.

Husbands want their wives to stay the same as when they married them and wives want to change their husbands. Why is that ?
From what I understand, as told to me by my daughters, Women are born perfect so it is impossible to get better, but time and living with men wears them down so they change in a backward fashion. Men on the other hand are considered a work in progress throughout their lifetime. When both finally get to the point of sitting side by side in the nursing home eating pudding (preferably chocolate) they have, at that point, reached equal sensibilities. And then they fall face down in their pudding. 😉 🤪
