We currently have 2 GPs one for mostly everything and one for emergencies because he's close. Our main GP's wife has been friends with emergency GP's wife for years so it works. When dh went to the ER a couple of weeks ago the "emergency" GP was consulted by the hospital and handed off to a specialist but regular GP was consulted and contacted us to see if he needed to do anything now and will do the follow up care if need beI found out I need my doctor is leaving the medical facility I go to in November with the other location being 21 miles away.
I'm planning to get a new doctor from the facility. I already made up my mind. I'm getting a younger doctor. The doctor got a degree in 2016 and is younger than I am. This now going be my 4th primary care doctor since 2010.
and you think this would have been unexpected? In other news, Jasmine has figured out how to open doors by herself. As mom discovered when Jasmine walked on her at 6:30 this morning after opening her bedroom door. So Jasmine's partway to world domination.
Our Shop Rite in town is short staffed as well. NJ keeps extending the unemployment benefits. People rather collect "free money" than go out and earn it.Yikes!!!!!!!! That's bad!
Karen isn't directed at people named Karen, it is just probably the first one that went viral that was named Karen that is the one they are referring too. Heavens there are so many people with identical names but they know if they are what is being described or not, and if it isn't them they know they aren't the ones being referred to. I suppose we could substitute the name Karen to Butthead or something like that, but isn't overreacting to something so minor exactly what it is describing. Who would actually think the just because they use that name that they are referring to them personally. Do people named Jack, get upset because someone mentioned Jack the Ripper? We can all be against the behavior displayed by people labeled "Karens"....just find another term for it.
I'm sure you agree @Cesar R M
For the cat who climbed the baby gate at 9 weeks old? Should not be.and you think this would have been unexpected?
Yikes and when a customer disputes a priced item, price check ! and further delays in the line.Route 70 in Brick NJ....about a 1/4 mile from the back of Brick Plaza.
4 to 6 cashiers....and 70 - 80 customers.
Insane!
Yup. I'm very protective of certain people. I care about their feelings.Karen isn't directed at people named Karen, it is just probably the first one that went viral that was named Karen that is the one they are referring too. You just described all mexican supermarkets. From Walmart to Chedraui XDRoute 70 in Brick NJ....about a 1/4 mile from the back of Brick Plaza.

I noticed that the supermarket carts have gotten wider and deeper. More to buy and fit in the cart, supermarket sales tactic, the longer the wait to pay for your food. I usually bag my own groceries. It helps me get out a little quicker and helps out the cashier. You just described all mexican supermarkets. From Walmart to Chedraui XD
Raining here now, apparently there are storms coming. I think there might be hail, not a fan of that.

I'm surprised that particular location store hasn't put in some self-checkout machines. The Target I shop at has some cashiers, but about 16 self check-out machines as well. Normally, I hate machines, and prefer to go to a cashier line. However, especially during the worst part of the pandemic last year, the machines actually were a safer, quicker option to get out of the store -- versus waiting in line for the in-person cashier. That's funny.
Yet Walmart saves me money.
Target in my town has prices that are nothing special....and the lines to check out are incredibly long. It is not unusual in my local Target to stand in line for 25 to 30 minutes just to purchase something you could have purchased in Walmart for less money...and Walmart has a much quicker checkout too.
We have storms over here causing major flooding in the South of the Netherlands and in Belgium. Apparently it's going to head our way....or maybe it's just that the extra water is going to flow through the rivers and cause our rivers to rise as well? I'm not clear on what the article meant, but it said to expect a couple of meters of extra water and they are reinforcing the D.y.k.s. I think I read 13 people have already died.We lost power for over an hour last night. No storms, just a generator that went bust.
Me too! But it's not going to happen for a while. Our cases are up again and I'm pretty sure we're going to be a dark red on the map next week, meaning no travel.I need a vacation
