The Olympics are in two weeks apparently. The ones that were supposed to be last year. I wondering how much money they will lose? Billions? Watching games with no fans is never fun. Plus I wonder how many people around the world actually care?

I love the Summer Olymics! I watch as much of the Gymnastics as they show! I also like the diving and I watch some swimming. We always watched a ton of it when I lived in the US, but they don't show as much here.

Apparently someone on the gymnastics team tested positive, to the whole team had to be quarantined for at least 6 days and get tested a few times before they leave.

Argentina won COPA America. England vs Italy today.

I never understood why COPA America (10 - 12 teams vs 24) is way smaller. I understand the whole continent thing but if they expanded it to the rest of America, I'm sure there would be more teams.

Practice run for E's hair for her Gala on Tuesday. There's definitely a learning curve, but this one turned out better than the one I did last night.

Yeah, some of the kids had some really rough pasts, so I can see it would be iffy for your kids. Do you know which one of the ones had some bad things? I know one of the girls had some iffy stuff both in her past and right after the end of the season, but apparently she made it back on track. I guess the coach doesn't stand for any bad behavior and anything illegal or promiscuous will get them kicked off the team. One of the guys who helped with tutoring and such had been on the team and was kicked off in his first year because he made a bad decision and spent a night in jail for it. He got himself straightened out and went and begged the coach to give him a 2nd chance, and he did get it, but she mentioned she is really strict, because if you are too easy on that kind of stuff, the incoming freshman won't take the rules seriously, and one of the guys said that her rules were really clear, so if they ever stepped out of line, there was never any surprise when they were sent packing. It was interesting to watch, in any case. Some of those kids are so talented and they have to be in such good shape!

He is blessedly at work. I think my sanity is somewhere in Florida.

We got home and he, B, and I all had a fight over the bathroom.

There are four bathrooms in this house.

We have four in ours also. The kids all want to shower in my bathroom. I don’t get it.

My brother and I when as young kids grew up in simple surroundings, 1 bathroom in our 2 bedroom apt to share with my parents but we all managed. When my parents bought a house, having multiple bathrooms was incredible.

Good morning! 57 degrees here today but I’m keeping warm with coffee in my new Skyliner mug. It’s kind of strange to drink out of, the best way is from the corner.

I liked that mug when we saw it in May but didn’t buy it cause I didn’t think it would get used cause of the shape. Bought the Gondola model toy instead.

Times are a changing. The college prep school near where I grew up had a well known headmaster loved by all. Seems like that term is not currently accepted so the new person running the school is now called head of school.

There are headmistresses also.
