DANG. I hate having to use the front plate no matter what I'm driving. I was hoping I'd missed something and could finally remove it.
Only one is issued in NC. I used to have a Vietnam Memorial Wall plate on the front one, just for decoration. The last two vehicles I have acquired here don't even have a bracket on the front to place one. It does come in a plastic bag in the trunk but you have to pay to have it put on the car. There aren't even open bracket attachment holes in the front.

Have a good time and ponchos will come in handy. Rain, rain and Hurricane Elsa is going to impact FL earlier in the week.
We're keeping an eye on Elsa. We're supposed to drive home Wednesday, so that could change. No biggie; I was just here less than two months ago and I will be back in two months.

As for the rain, I used to come here for two weeks growing up in August. I'm an expert at handling the rain. 😉

Aside of those pics being adorable, it struck me how quickly Emy loved her little sister -- like, it was immediate, you know? (I was the youngest of 4 in my family, so I never experienced a new member of the family arriving, like Emy did.)

I’m the oldest of 4. Next youngest bro came about 18 mos. later, youngest bro came 3 mos. short of 5 years later than I, and lil’ sis came 12+ years after I was born...I remember when youngest bro showed up, and, of course, when lil’ sis showed up.
From the time they knew they were expecting another child again, Megan and Daniel were lovingly prepping Emmy for her sibling, and it seems to have paid off with a very good start...!!!!! :inlove::happy:;)

I'm glad I don't have anything stickered on my front windshield ( only a registration renewal sticker on the right side of my rear license plate ), and no front license plate . That front plate ruins the aesthetics of the front grill of the vehicle. No such thing as a state inspection on my ride.

The sticker is so low down on the windshield that it doesn’t affect anything vision-wise at all, so it’s not any big deal.
As far as your state not requiring any vehicle inspections, that’s your states business, but, it just seems lax, and I don’t care what statistics anyone quotes...that’s just Bravo Sierra.
Both front and rear plates are required here in Texas, but, there are many that still don’t display front plates.
All our vehicles do, as the law requires, and it really isn’t that big of a deal...

Only one??????? What are you and your hubby going to eat
It was a big cowboy steak (cost over $27.00 from the butcher shop -- a place I rarely go, but I figured it was for a holiday weekend, and they have quality food there). There's plenty for both of us, and we'll give a few bites to Jack. Funny thing about Jack -- if you put a few bites of something in his dog bowl, he thinks he's getting an extra big meal, after his dog food. You should see the look of excitement on his face! :hilarious:

Anyway, the butcher shop also makes these yummy baked potatoes with a ton of cheese that melts on top -- I can't resist buying those whenever I'm in that shop. :joyfull: It was busy in there this morning which surprised me a bit, only because of the days of rain. We might get one night without rain in the next 2 days, so I guess people are optimistic for their holiday cook-outs. ;)
