Aside of those pics being adorable, it struck me how quickly Emy loved her little sister -- like, it was immediate, you know? (I was the youngest of 4 in my family, so I never experienced a new member of the family arriving, like Emy did.)Thanks for askin’..!!!
She’s doin’ great, and they brought her home around 3:30 this afternoon...!!!
And, Emy is LOVING her lil’ sis...!!!!!!!

We had killer wind around 6pm last night. Not sure if it was related. Also had rain and still raining today.

I am soooo annoyed. I ordered some stuff from Amazon over the weekend. Was supposed to have the items Monday and Tuesday. Got one thing on Monday even though 3 items said they were out for delivery with USPS on Monday. At 8pm I looked at the tracking and at 7pm there was a note saying the items that hadn't been delivered weren't delivered because our driveway/front door couldn't be accessed? What? I looked at our Ring camera videos and there was no mail truck in the neighborhood since 11am when we got the one delivery. We live on a quiet street so there is not much traffic. It is a cul de sac so pretty much the neighbors of the few houses on our street. I thought, fine, it will come tomorrow with the other items. Nope! Got the same message on Tuesday evening. Tried calling the post office yesterday only to get a busy signal. They aren't taking calls apparently. Then yesterday I got Amazon items delivered that I ordered on Tuesday. So I got items overnight that I ordered but I still hadn't gotten the original from over the weekend. Then this morning I go to track and USPS tracking says they tried to deliver yesterday but couldn't. This morning it says the address isn't verifiable. WTH!!!!! And on top of that there is literally no one to contact at Amazon. They have a chat bot, stupid AI, that says if you don't get your items by July 1 they will send a replacement. Well it is July 1 and the chat bot didn't give me a link or any sort of help to get the items replaced. I know I shouldn't get upset with this, there are more important things, but gosh darn it, this is just plain ridiculous.

I ordered a new scent of deodorant a when it came out and became obsessed so I ordered more, changed date of subscription it shipped, rinse and repeat a few times. Long story short the order that shipped last arrived first

Update. All my Amazon stuff arrived today. Apparently not only was our regular USPS carrier delivering, but they must be outsourcing some or having managers deliver. One delivery wasn't in a regular USPS truck. They must be understaffed.
