One of my dd’s birthdays is the 29th. She turns 14. Cannot believe it!Thanks for askin’, Figgy...!!!
All is well, but, if she doesn’t show up on her own between now and Monday afternoon, she’ll show up via c-section.
Either way, Audrey will be here soon...!!!!!

What's even harder to believe is that my baby daughter just turned 45 and my first born hit 47.
Even worse is that I will be 73 in just a tad over a month from now.

Yea, but I guess it isn't gone, we just lived it. Through the good, the bad and the ugly someplace in all that grey matter it is locked away waiting to be remembered. That is probably why we are prone to heading into a room and not remembering why we went there. There should be an App that is a brain cleaner that will clean out all the information that we have accumulated after all those years that is useless now and doesn't need to be clogging up our hard drives. We are running out of storage space.

So far this one hasn't been too bad. I did finally break down and get the 23 and Me DNA kit. I want to find out if I'm a Tay Sachs carrier (my grandfather was) and I want to figure out if I have any cancer markers. I'm also curious about my family history. I know I'm probably like 50-75% Dutch-German and English, but I have random ancestry thrown in (Native American, African, French, Scotts Irish) and I'm just curious how much got in there. And then on the family tree we have random people who just popped in there and we have no idea who they were or how they got in there.

For sure, but sadly it is much harder for me to meet someone that is older then me than someone that is younger. I'm getting closer to always being the oldest in a group.My stepdad is 84 going on 85. Compared to him you are a young whippersnapper.
