Interesting “Summit Plummet” discussion back there...
Have never been on it, but, have been on plenty of crazy-fun waterpark rides over the years, especially at Schlitterbahn.
The last time we were at one was a few years back at a local smaller waterpark. They had a fun downhill racer that I actually won every race on ‘cause, well, weight can create some serious downhill momentum...!!!!! :hilarious:
They also had one high on a tower where you got in this tube, then crossed your arms and legs before they dropped the bottom out...that thing was friggin’ AWESOME...you felt like you were in midair and not even on the slide for most of the way down...!!!!!!! :joyfull:
I went on that one twice in a row, and was headin’ back for a third ride when I was told it was down. A girl got in it, and then panicked at the last second, to the point where she messed the hatch up...bummer....... :bored:;)
For me anyway, it’s not about proving anything, taking needless risks, or tempting fate...I just LOVE these types of attractions, and thousands upon thousands of people have been on the ones I’ve been on without major incident.
Of course, then again, I also LOVE flying gyroplanes...!!!!!!! :joyfull:

It's a weird move by Disney to not charge for Luca (new Pixar movie) and for it not to be in theaters but one I'm thankful for as I can't wait to see it.
Not sure what this means -- are you saying that they're not charging in theaters for this new movie? (Sorry, I"m out of the loop with any discussion about Luca. I only heard the word a few days ago.)

So cool @MySmallWorldof4 that we coincidentally thought about each other within the same 24 hours.
Tomorrow is the last day of school in Brick. My 19 yr old DD(flute) and I (trumpet) are going to play along w/ the High School Band members at the High School Graduation tomorrow @ 4pm. It is especially fun for me to sit amongst my former 5th grade band kids who are now high school musicians.
Have a great day!!!
Steve
Enjoy graduation today!

I totally understand.
My education story is from last night. My favorite student's mom asked me if her daughter could miss her last virtual lesson of the year...that lesson is today @ 2:35pm.
I responded that she COULD miss it, but that I'm sure she would want the closure of having a chance to say good bye to me.
Sure enough, ten minutes later the mom emailed back to me that when she confessed to her daughter that she attempted to cancel her last band lesson of the year...well her daughter became "VERY upset". The mom used capital letters like that. The mom withdrew her request and the 2:35pm Google Meet will take place as scheduled. That made me feel great that my favorite student also thinks highly of me.
Some kids are just special to you and I.
It's hard to face when we have to "let them go".
So true. Glad that your student got to say goodbye to you.
