Also, I don't know if you will remember the original story, but:

On Saturday, when I was in-between stores, an employee texted me a picture of a $50 bill and a handwritten note. The note referenced a story I believe I told when it happened. It was from a man who said when I was delivering groceries last year, I was very nice to his daughter when she got a delivery on Mother's Day and was bummed to be quarantined. (On Mother's Day, she left me an $80 tip in the card with a note that said she would leave "the rest" in the app. I thought even $80 was crazy but I figured she was leaving another $20 in the app to make it an even hundred. Nope, she left another $150 in the app.)

Well, her Dad tipped me another $50 on Saturday at my store LOL.

That's awesome. Here's the "kids today" part:

I responded back to the employee: "I remember her! Hey, order a couple of pizzas."

Cool, right? I figured the worst that could happen was he would use Uber Eats and it would cost an extra 8 bucks, because...kids.

He responded back after a few minutes something like: "I would really prefer you do that because it's your money and I would need to know your preferred restaurant, toppings, etc."

omg, seriously, just order frickin pizza!

Only slightly daunted, I texted the other person working and said a customer had tipped us and to order a couple of pizzas.

He responded that he is the last person to ask because he doesn't live in that neighborhood and wouldn't know where to call that was good.

omg! You guys are not hungry!

The end. Nobody ordered pizza. Kids today!!!
Wow! Wouldn’t have been my kids. 😉They would have had pizza delivered in a heartbeat. Anyway so super glad for you that your stores are doing great and that the expansion worked out.

We got new couches last week. Ordered them 3 months ago so it took awhile to get them. Our cat Oliver loves them. He never went on our older couches but he has climbed on the new ones everyday since we got them. They are covered because kids and pets. Self-explanatory. We got them from Bob’s and I am really impressed. Cats have clawed at them and they haven’t pulled.231A309B-5470-4DBA-923B-E24FA850CA26.jpeg

No AC at the warehouse?
Nope. It's not quite AS bad in the new location. It's only one story, where the old one was 2, and the upstairs was unbearable. Plus, there are huge rolling garage-type doors all around, and depending on who the supervisor is, sometimes they'll open a couple of those doors for some ventilation in the evening as it cools down. They weren't allowed to open any of the doors in the old location because of fire spread....most of the doors were fire doors designed to keep a fire from spreading quickly. If those were kept open and there was ever a fire, the insurance wouldn't pay for the damage because the fire could spread quickly. So there was no ventilation there. So this is better, but still not great.

Good luck. Do you have one of those mini fans people wear around their necks at Disney? Would it even be safe to do so? anyhoo set up some blowers and send it my way.
One of those fans wouldn't stay put. You're constantly reaching up on tip toes, or hanging practically upside down to get something from a bottom shelf. I set the blowers to head your way.....did it work?

Have a headache and want to go to sleep. Why? We went out for lunch at one of our favorite local restaurants (fully open / no restrictions for indoor dining), and I had a cocktail with lunch, for the first time in well over a year. It was a fruity mango Mai Tai -- nice and sweet. :hungry:

Ate a lot of delicious food, too, but I still feel like I'm going to crash on the floor from that cocktail !:hilarious:

Before you crash, drink a couple of glasses of water and take regular asprin or you may still feel wobbly tomorrow. I may be the nut who thinks the drink around EPCOT is a walk in a park, isn't it but I always hydrate while doing so. Knock wood (the racoon's head) I've never had a hangover

Tomorrow it's supposed to be the hottest day of the week. Mid 90s here, so I'll do my best to send it over there. @donaldtoo was supposed to keep it over there, but I think he must have failed.
Depending on how you look at it sometimes you fall into situations that help you cope. My lovely year on my all expense paid trip to So. Vietnam I became quite able to deal with hot weather and heavy rains that turned 12 ft deep concrete ditches into overflowing raging rivers in less than 10 minutes. Gotta love those monsoons. It's no wonder that every native always looked angry. Don't get me wrong if I have a choice of AC or blistering heat, AC will win every single time, but it did manage to alter my mental objection to hot weather. However, if it hadn't been for my 12 inch fan trained on my face at night, in the barracks, I probably would have lost my cherub like demeanor.
