Sorry, never went to a Water Park in my life. This is despite I visited the Wisconsin Dells when I growing up. Wisconsin Dells is known as the Water Park Capital of the World. I am not a water park person plain and simple.
I'm impressed and shocked WI Dells is known as the water park capital in WI. Looking at their website it even has a casino for adults to partake and a nice place to visit .

Your wishes (and mine) came true.

Sorry, I have been too busy to elaborate!

Today was my day off. Meh, I rested as best I could.

Yes, Saturday was Record Store Day part one, and Friday night at 11PM was when we finished prepping the expansion of the bigger store.

Two days before RSD, it was an empty box. All that had gotten done was demolition since the end of May.

Thursday: painted, brought in fixtures, removed 80's blinds, prepped RSD. Exterminator came at night (we've had mosquitoes.)
Friday: had lights installed, scraped paint off entire windows (7 of them) from previous tenant. Had outdoor window wraps installed. Set up fixtures. Filled fixtures with temp merch in a way that made sense. Voila!

It's not done, but it was done enough to be presentable, useful, and a surprise for our early morning guests. Had a band outside the next morning.

Still waiting for the 4 foot by 4 foot album covers we ordered to go in the windows above the wrap, I think they're coming tomorrow.

The day's ring was excellent, although we only sold about half of the RSD merch (but sold way more catalog titles than expected.) Since then, we've been pushing the rest online like mad. (The longer you wait, the harder it is to sell.)

A regular came in last night and wants to do a Stevie Wonder mural for us on the back wall of the new space. The design is fab and I made a suggestion that still allows us to merchandise at least some of the wall. He is hoping to get started right away and get done in time for RSD #2 on July 17.

Also, I don't know if you will remember the original story, but:

On Saturday, when I was in-between stores, an employee texted me a picture of a $50 bill and a handwritten note. The note referenced a story I believe I told when it happened. It was from a man who said when I was delivering groceries last year, I was very nice to his daughter when she got a delivery on Mother's Day and was bummed to be quarantined. (On Mother's Day, she left me an $80 tip in the card with a note that said she would leave "the rest" in the app. I thought even $80 was crazy but I figured she was leaving another $20 in the app to make it an even hundred. Nope, she left another $150 in the app.)

Well, her Dad tipped me another $50 on Saturday at my store LOL.

That's awesome. Here's the "kids today" part:

I responded back to the employee: "I remember her! Hey, order a couple of pizzas."

Cool, right? I figured the worst that could happen was he would use Uber Eats and it would cost an extra 8 bucks, because...kids.

He responded back after a few minutes something like: "I would really prefer you do that because it's your money and I would need to know your preferred restaurant, toppings, etc."

omg, seriously, just order frickin pizza!

Only slightly daunted, I texted the other person working and said a customer had tipped us and to order a couple of pizzas.

He responded that he is the last person to ask because he doesn't live in that neighborhood and wouldn't know where to call that was good.

omg! You guys are not hungry!

The end. Nobody ordered pizza. Kids today!!!

I'm curious...why not?
I never was introduced into water parks, but I did not the time for that anyway or care to. I was my spending time at hotel pool or the swimming pool the backyard had when I was growing up.

For Wisconsin Dells, My parents never been water park people at all and never considered water parks at all when I was growing. I went to the Dells growing up. There is more than Water Parks there.

For Disney, I it was a combination of me being happy using the Disney resort swimming back in the 90s and the 2000s although I did not going into the pool every trip. I only spend about 30 to 45 minutes in a pool at a resort in that era. I'm person who likes to relax in the hotel room for a mid after afternoon break in the summer now days.

Google maps (satellite view) comes in handy. I had been looking for a specific trailhead in the woods for about a month now (it's a rarely used, older trail), but I could never find it. So I tried zooming in an overhead view of the general area, on G. satellite this morning, and saw what looked like a tiny opening between trees. So I went there this morning, and actually found the old trailhead! Trail is somewhat overgrown in places, but still somewhat passable!

I LOVE Google Earth...!!!!!!! :joyfull:
I use it often because it’s just so cool to cruise the earth with it...!!!!!
Just one example (that I’m sure I’ve posted before) is the spot on Grand Cayman where we snorkeled with the stingrays...!!! :)
