Moderna and I was down for the count. Anyone that gets Moderna should plan on not being very productive for the next 24 hours especially after the second dose.

I must have been born with the Pfizer needle in my arm because until recently I have hated Mondays (retirement cured that), been lazy and craved lasagna for all these years.One of my friends said Pfizer turned him into Garfield:Monday hating, lazy and craving lasagna
If you ask me that means no side effects

A three member section of my family had Moderna with no side effects at all. So it is not necessarily to be expected. Whatever, the day long side effect might be it is far less of a problem then having ventilator tubes shoved down ones throat and then dying anyway or having to stay somewhat a prisoner from life because one doesn't have it. I never thought that freedom from fear was so exhilarating.

@ajrwdwgirl . have you tuned in to The Bachelorette the past 2 weeks? I didn't intend to, but I got sucked into this silly show again.
Yes, it is one of B's favorite shows. I was thinking of skipping it but the look of horror on my husband's face made me agree to watch it with him!
We haven't finished last night's episode yet, I fell asleep during it. I do like this Bachelorette though, and I don't miss Chris Harrison too much.

Just another morning in paradise
All are different. My brother's friend a guy in his early 50s no underlying health conditions tested positive for covid after a business trip after feeling very tired. He quarantined in his condo then collapsed a day later then rushed to the ER and was in a covid ward for several days. Afterwards when he recovered he got his first Moderna shot. He said he felt so bad with side effects after the shot it reminded him of his battle w/ covid previously.

Son went off shore fishing yesterday with bunch of buddies had a good day. Caught a 450 lb Marlin fought it for an hour got it to the boat and released it (not good to eat fun to catch), caught 5 dolphin (not flipper -the fish), 2 large grouper, trigger fish, king mackerel, and amber jack. They got in late so they are cleaning the fish today --hope to have fresh fish for supper tonight

My kids were fine except for being extra hungry and the burning desire to get a pet, I had less issues with it than any other shot as far back as I can remember and my dh got a sore arm with his first as in really sore arm
A steaming cup of java is perfect for me in the morning but it actually acts as a good laxative too. ( I know, TMI ).Good point -- although it's the same cup of coffee that I've had on the desk since 5:30 AM today! (So it was actually cold.)
