@Figgy1 you can have my heat today. It is 91 in the sun and muggy!!
I did errands this morning, left the air on in the house to cool it, did too many chores I guess when I got home and got overheated in the house. The sun must have warmed things up inside so it wasn’t cool in the kitchen. I had to go outside and sit before I passed out. I googled that bp Meds can make you feel hotter than a normal person. Did not know that. I am cooled down now but that wasn’t fun.

Yes that's true. Heat, humidity can impact one's body along with bp medication during that time. Try to cool off asap is the right thing to do, and if not seek medical attention immediately.

The smokers are definitely the real deal, they've got the process down to an art form, and the smoked meat is crazy-delicious...!!!!! :hungry:
And, as per usual, they were up before the sun drinkin' beer and preppin' it all...!!!!! :hilarious:
Attendance was larger than expected, but, it was probably due to the fact that it was cancelled last year.
Also, any of the meat that is leftover is sold to attendees at a nominal price to help raise funds for the next reunion...!!! :)

Even with the old house and outbuildings in there present dilapidated state, the farm is a special place full of many fond memories...!!!!! :happy:
But, yes, it was pretty toasty out, and not for those who are not acclimated. ;) But, the VFW hall where the festivities were held is ice-cold air conditioned...!!! :cold:;)

I thought some here might get a kick out of the video, and it indeed was an old Czech polka number...a lot of those old songs are actually quite fun, and many have a good sense of humor to 'em...!!!!! :hilarious::happy:

I never even read or watched the story, so don’t know exactly what happened, but, there are usually warning buoys around those dams.
maybe they just ignored the warnings, they were already too close when the motor quit, or, most likely, they had a few too many...?!!!!! 🤷‍♂️:D :hilarious:;)
