All I know is an Airbnb near Cubs. They stayed there before so I guess out of the city.

Ok, readers, anyone have any thoughts on e-readers vs tablet? And what kind? I'm really a paper book person, but there are some books that just aren't being printed on paper anymore and you can't get them in classic book form.

We use the kindle app on all our various devices...so we're not tied to a specific brand for reading.

That is a tough one. Most of the things that come to mind, are on a bun. Lou Malnati offers gf crust. Chicago dog, and remove the bun? Italian beef without the bun would be a sloppy mess. Eli's cheesecake, not sure about gf with that. I will keep thinking.

I'm kind of leaning toward the paperwhite. It's waterproof and I do like to read in the bath and sometimes start to fall asleep and my book slips. So waterproof would be a good thing. The Nia? whatever is the next one down is apparently not waterproof. It's cheaper, but doesn't have the waterproofing.

My DH has the paper white. He loves his.

I just saute them in olive oil with onions and garlic. Pro tip caramalize the onions then add greens then garlic

One of my favorite places has a location near there. Ben J Yehuda. Best falafel. But also shawarma, and honestly, I have never had anything bad out of this place. Decades Diner at Wrigley field, if they are taking in a game. Tip: Chicago just opened up yesterday, so everybody wants to eat out. If there is a restaurant they are really looking forward to, make reservations well in advance. @93boomer , if anything else comes to mind, I will make sure I eat you know!

I don't know yet for food for Father's day. My dad decides on what food he wants on Father's Day. A father's day meal for him in the past has been burgers, sandwiches, chicken, or brats.

If you like Korean barbeque , Chicago has a number of Korean authentic restaurants. Grilled short ribs ( Kalbi ) and you wrap the delicious meat with lettuce and you've got lettuce wraps Korean style.

I can't stand reading on a tablet. It hurts my eyes. I read all the time on my Kindle Paperwhite.

We just got done with a 9 day hot streak of temps in the 90's with heat index near 100. Today it is 81 and breezy, just perfect for me.

If I read an ebook it is on my phone. Then it is always with me if I want to read.

Edit: I see you said your phone screen is too small so I guess what I said isn't much help. You can make the print larger on your phone though, maybe that would help.
