I'll jump in there for those like yourself that have not "kept up". Barbecuing and grilling are two completely different things. BBQing is a process that involves seasoning, rubs and liquids, slow cooking and a high degree of skill where as grilling is just an act of burning food over high heat. Down here it is almost a crime to think one is the same as the other.
Grilling is more than just the act of burning food over high heat.

My dad to this day puts small holes in steak whenever he grills. He also marinates the steak. He is not grilling steak this weekend though.

It's 47 outside now, and was just as nice this morning, too. I LOVE this COOL weather -- excellent sleeping weather, as well.

Hiked through a section of woods I hadn't been in before, this morning. It was cool and windy with light rain, and since I had on my waterproof hiking boots, I could splash through big puddles on the dirt trail. It was fun!!! :joyfull: (I was the only one out there . . . zero cars, except for mine, parked in the parking lot for the trailhead. :hilarious: )

Hafta say, that with a dipping sauce, I think it would have made all the difference with the hush puppies. No wonder you like them.

Catfish Parlour hush puppies actually look like the pic below, so they’re perfectly cooked through, unlike the round ones which can be a little raw in the middle.
And they’re also very tasty without the jalapeño tartar sauce, or the other sauces, on their own...!!!!! :hungry:

I would definitely try those. (P.S.: Assuming the jalapeno sauce isn't too hot, as I prefer mild sauces. But I'll bet it's tasty, nonetheless.)

Wow, interesting. Really, never had a clue there was any difference. As far as I recall both words were used, even back when my father used to cook outdoors in the summer.
Oh, here there is absolutely a difference. If you're just grilling, you're having a cookout. BBQ is different. This is a southern trait MD has; we differentiate. Since we are neither in the north not the south.

I always thought northerners were strange when they calling grilling barbequing. I'm like, there's no barbeque sauce! You're grilling.

@StarWarsGirl did the new nebulizer help?
Just as well as the old one. But I love it! It's super quiet, and I can carry it around because it's battery powered, so no more being stuck up against a wall. And it was about as quick as my big one. My old portable one was super noisy and took forever. So I'll keep the new portable one around for going placed or if I don't feel like being tied to the wall and the big one can continue to live in my room.

Twenty people were stuck on a roller coaster in San Antonio this afternoon (not exactly sure how long). They have just been rescued off it now. Reporter on TV mentioned they all had water, etc., and were fine.

Glad to hear all are OK...!!! :)👍
I’ve been on that coaster (Poltergeist) over 2 dozen times over the years. I’ve posted before that I call it a pile of spaghetti ‘cause of the way it looks, and the Poltergeist moniker comes from the sound it makes as it runs...just eerie.
One of the best coasters I’ve ever been on...!!!!!!! :joyfull:
