It was a good engine, but that boat was large. By the time you got it up to speed you were at your destination. It also burnt more oil then gasoline. About a quart every 500 miles. At one point it was adding almost pure STP. (summer only) Otherwise, I had no real problems with it, except it was bad for my image.

Try to picture showin’ up to pick up your HS date in a camper...!!!!!!! :joyfull::eek:🤣
Fortunately, my folks let me take their Buick LeSabre to go on HS dates, until I got my Cutlass, so I avoided any potential fatherly buckshot entanglements...!!! ;)
And, as my Pop would say... “You can buy a lot of oil for the price of an overhaul.”...!!!!! :hilarious:

Woohoo ❄❄⛄🏂

Happy that is not Wisconsin or Door County, Wisconsin for that matter. I read that Wisconsin did have snow storm what is now Memorial Day weekend back in 1947, but it damage to trees and other stuff.

I would be concern with the trees in Door county if it ever snow in May. The Door County section of Wisconsin has cherry trees. Cherries is one of Door Counties major products. Cherries are use for different things in Door County. I've been to Door County long before I first went to a Disney theme park.

I would think VW is an inexpensive car in Mexico since VW models made in MEX are sold here in the USA and other parts of the world. My brother on a business trip flew from Tucson to Central Mexico on a private jet then he and other business execs were escorted by private armed security from the airport to the plant to meet with Mexican execs. He thought the plant was closed since there only a few cars in the parking lot. He was shocked to see thousands of Mexican workers working inside and he was advised they do not drive to work but rather bussed into work from their home towns.
You could say that, but there are a ton of factories here and most of them are still expensive XD
Nissan for example, has been raising prices non stop and despite the factories being here. .I still see the prices are higher here than in the USA.
The worst? the "basic models" that they sell in Texas (that I've seen) are the "deluxe" versions from Mexico.

Reminds me of that hilarity of Seagate.. where the hard disks used to be built in northern Mexico, sent to USA then bring back to Mexico.
So the boxes used to say "Assembled in Mexico, Defused in USA, Made in the USA".
And we still had to buy the hard disks from USA's side (more expensive than purchasing in the US directly).

Sometimes these makes no sense.

In the other hand, Amazon prime has been priced competitively based on the salary disparity.
I think NETFLIX is cheaper here as well (our selection is smaller thou..)
