Woohoo 🏂🏂🏂❄❄❄

Winter is ending and spring will soon be here. But fans of the sport can take heart, the days will be getting shorter in less than 4 weeks. ⛄🎅🏂

That'll be a problem if I ever have kids. I have no desire whatsoever to go back to having an SUV. Thankfully that won't be a problem for a while.

One kid in a sedan is easy. Two is pretty manageable as long as you don't ever need too drive anyone anywhere in the back seat. It's when you have three car seats in the back that things get awful.

I found that two was perfect. I still had a van, my wonderful Dodge Caravan. I loved that van. It would travel anywhere in any weather (with the V6) and was very comfortable to drive and even to get in and out of. It left enough room for all kinds of baggage and got pretty good gas mileage. I don't think they make them anymore except in the Chrysler line which automatically makes it more expensive. I had two in a row and loved them both. I made many trips to WDW with them and with our family of my wife, my two girls and myself we had plenty of room and comfort. I'd have one now if I wouldn't look silly for me to have a van with just me. The one thing I did miss was being able to lock valuables in the trunk or for our British friends, the boot. I also owned two Dodge K-cars (very dependable and comfortable small cars) (used on our first WDW trip in 1983) and two Dodge Caravans plus a Plymouth Laser... Lee Iacocca had a big part of my 80's and 90's life.

My daughter has had three caravans and currently has one of the ugliest vehicles known to man. It is a Ford something. It looks more like a utility van with 2 laterally opening doors in the back of a huge square block of vehicle. She has three kids ranging from 9 to 19 to 21 and all still live at home and are still going to school. Online college or home school.

I just wanted to take a moment to follow up on the Disney Store closing in the mall. I was in there Wednesday morning and if it wasn't for the signs you would never know it was going out of business. The official closing time was 7pm on Wednesday. I walked past it Thursday morning and except for the pixie dust shiny walkway and an empty ice castle prop it was like nothing had ever been there. I mean it was completely empty of literally thousands of dollars worth of merchandise, gone not even a spot of dust anywhere. Spotless and shiny! I don't know how they did it but I would have loved to hire the crew to come in and clean my place. The only strange thing was the lights were on including the big Disney sign and the smiling Mickey but otherwise completely deserted and locked up.

Of course, Disney has it's own way of closing out stores, but generally speaking (if it wasn't a Disney store going out of business), usually liquidators come in and can clean out a store in record speed -- always done overnight. Seen it happen a few times. (One of those times, a friend of mine was a cashier in a small, mall store and it folded overnight -- except they didn't give a hint to the employees that it was going to happen. They all received phone calls the next morning, and their pay for the last week was in the mail to them.) That was years ago, but I've read that type of situation still happens sometimes. Lousey way to treat people!

On my commute home I passed a Lamborghini comin’ in the opposite direction, and said “Lambo” out loud...!!!!! 😅
Then I thought “Rambo”, and then I thought/wondered there’s no way anyone has ever painted a Lamborghini in camo...Googled, and there were a ton of ‘em...you can find ANYTHING on the interwebs...!!!!! :hilarious:
