Nobody in my house eats candy and my kids are older so they each get a small gift card or movie for Easter. This year is gift cards. My dh is getting a electronic thingy and I'm getting an LED lamp that I was going to get this month.

We got my two youngest kids a gift basket from a local chocolate shop. Got my oldest who loves popcorn a sample box of different kinds. My son doesn’t really eat candy or popcorn so I got him a large chocolate egg that is filled with tiny chocolate ducks. They also each got a small Amazon gift card.

Hubby and I actually watch stuff on Prime quite frequently. We're thinking about switching from a ton of paid cable channels to Hulu Live, too...I still need to compare the channel lineups.

I have no clue about the DVR portion of Hulu...didn't even know that was a thing!
We got a Roku last year. We still have xfinity but gave back the boxes. It ends up being cheaper than the streaming services when you give back boxes. Xfinity has an app on Roku so you don’t need the box. There is an app for other services like Youtube, Hulu and Netflix for example. Love the Roku.

As I’ve posted before, I’ve always been at least 2 iPhone generations behind, until recently. The camera and the battery life alone with the 12 Pro Max made it worth it to me. I used to have to charge my 8+ every day, or less. It’s been about every 2.5 days with this phone, but, I’m sure that’ll be different during our upcoming Nov. WDW trip...definitely glad I got the 256 gigs of memory with it though, too...!!!!! :hilarious:
I have 256 gigs also. It is so worth it. I have loads of videos and pictures on it.

How is the Hulu library compared to Amazon Prime library? We have Amazon Prime now w/cable.
We have Amazon prime, Disney Plus, and Netflix (use my sil’s account, which we rarely use). Amazon Prime isn’t as good as it used to be. Seems like you have to pay to watch more and more movies now. We tried Hulu a couple of years ago and it was mostly tv shows. Wanted to watch The Truman Show last night and YouTube actually had it for free.

How did you know?

I was concerned about ruining our streak of amazing weekend sales. So on Sunday, one store is open with one employee for 6 hours. The other is by appointment only (with no appointments booked.)

But between Friday and Saturday, we already rang up what we’ve been ringing Friday through Sunday (!!!) We were absolutely slammed today. So if we do any business at all on Sunday, it’s not just gravy, it’s extra gravy.

And on Monday, the last three personal credit cards with balances will get paid off. (And I get my second shot.)
Wish I could love your post more.

You're right -- I had to go back and look at the description in Target (since I chucked the box recently). I bought the 6 qt., not 7. (Didn't really pay much attention at the time to the size, but the 6 is more than adequate for me.) :)
I was going to say the 6 qt is at the upper end for a couple and Jack. 7 is what I use for baked beans and some stews other stews I use an 8 quart:banghead::banghead::banghead: BTW you can stir fry in it;)

We have Disney+, Amazon Prime (which we'd have anyway for shipping), and YouTube TV.

Haven't missed cable at all, but I do wish Tiger King didn't hit mere months after I cancelled Netflix 😂😂 I feel like I would have enjoyed that
We were looking at Youtube TV but the only channel they do no have is the History Channel which surprised me and I cannot get ap on it's own.

Pretty sure you’ve heard of it before, but, a buddy of mine from way back in the day owns “Just For Fun” watercraft rental on Hudson Bend. He was also the “visible” partner (1 of 4) at the Carlos’n Charlie’s next door, until they closed permanently in ‘13 because of the severe drought. Fortunately, “Just For Fun” survived.
Enjoy your Lake Travis time...!!!!!!! :joyfull:

Ah! I remember it well and I know Kyle - I lived on LT for 20 years, started out at Volente VIP then built a waterfront home on the Sandy Creek Arm. Spent many a night at C&C's, Sam Hill, anchored in Devil's Cove, etc. Sold my lake place but still keep a boat at Lakeway Marina. It's looking like we could dry up again, need another flood event.

Yep, Kyle is one of Pete’s (the owner and my old friend) boys. I’m also very familiar with all the places you mentioned, including Devil’s Cove.
I actually worked at Just For Fun on Saturdays one summer back in ‘07 (or was it ‘08...? 🤔🙃), just for the heck of it.
Cool about the lake house, we live about 10 mins. away up off of 620.
At my job, one of the home designs I’m currently workin’ on is a custom on Palos Verde Dr. in Lakeway.
Yea, I remember one year the lake flooded so bad that the concrete outdoor stage at Carlos’n Charlie’s was about 20 ft. Under water, and, of course, Graveyard Point was totaled, yet again.
We could definitely use some good rain here, but, hopefully nothin’ quite on that scale again, though...!!! ;):)
