We thought we had his Easter wishes all wrapped up, then the Easter activities began at school this week and that went out the window.

ETA: We don't go nuts, but we try to get ideas for little things because we don't want to overload on candy.
There are benefits to homeschool;) My kids are also past the silly little thing phase:joyfull: They've moved on to the expensive electronics phase:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: :banghead: and have I ever mentioned my food bill:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

I hear ya there...that's where our oldest is. We're fortunate in that he understands the value of money though...he was complaining about his iPhone being out-of-date (it's a 6), and when I told him how much a new one is, he was beside himself (he thinks they should be about $100! 😂 ). We'll probably get him an 8 on eBay for Christmas.

Yup. And our little Pookie-pants asked me to email the Easter Bunny to tell him that he wants a bag of balloons. Nothing like giving mom a little notice! 😂

My first job after I was discharged from the service was manager of a Ben Franklin Store. In that capacity I was first exposed to the fact, at the time, that Easter was the 2nd biggest Retail rush after Christmas. I never knew that. Our family never gave Easter gifts. We had limited candy mostly hidden around the house (inside). And a big Easter Breakfast mostly to celebrate the end of Lent. I guess it carried through with my kids as well because they have never done the gift giving Easter thing. It was always a family gathering, but just for a meal. I can only say that I must have led a sheltered life. Do most of the rest of you folks make it a gift exchange event?

It's not really a gift exchange thing...it's Easter baskets with limited candy and a few little toys. ☺️ (Hubby is terrible though, and almost always buys more than I do when he gets the stuff.)

ETA: Ben Franklin's was my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE store when I was a teenager and lived within walking distance of one!

EDIT 2: I used to looooove buying art/craft supplies there and will never forget loading up on fake flowers and ribbon to decorate our Christmas tree with...it came out gorgeous!

S mode? What about with a 17 inch screen?
Silent mode I pressume. Silent mode forces the fans to dont make noise, but performance is impaired.
S mode is a mode with Windows where it locks you in and doesn't let you install anything not from the Windows store, including Chrome. It's very simple to turn off.
