@ajrwdwgirl , have you seen Rick Steves' Easter special? (I think it was filmed a few years ago.) Just saw some of it today on PBS and really enjoyed it. It has the same charm, and higlights from the old world (European) traditions, similar to his Christmas special. Hoping I'll see the entire show on a repeat, as I did miss sections of it today, not realizing what time it was being shown.

I think I did see this one awhile ago, but not recently. I'll have to check out our PBS app and see if it is on there. Thanks for mentioning it.

No cat is ever spoiled enough. Just ask them;)
So remember how I trained the cats to ring the bell to be let out of my room?

I got another one for the other side of the door for them to ring when they want in. That way Belle will stop meowing incessantly and Jasmine will stop knocking the TofT Do Not Disturb sign off of the door.

I think they're plenty spoiled.

I've been wondering if in the summer of 2022 Royal Caribbean will offer a cruise from England that includes stop overs in Ireland.
I have a thread going on the Cruise Forum on Tripadvisor but maybe some of my friends here on the Chit Chat Forum would enjoy an excuse to chat about their upcoming desire for the world to be safe enough for cruising to resume.

They'd be spoiled if they had an automatic door opener;)

I wonder how he started? His wikipedia page says 'travel agent type of person'.

I miss Samantha Brown. I liked her hotels and cities tours.

Actually, I never checked his background travel experience -- just loved seeing his various shows on PBS. He mentioned (in one of the fund-raising breaks) that he works very closely with local tour guides all over Europe, as they are a valuable resource for locations, traditions, etc.

I also really like Samantha Brown. She had a couple of PBS shows up through March of 2020. Assuming it's because of the Covid situation that filming stopped at that point. Perhaps down the road, she'll resume her show again?

I'm on my last jar of peanut butter. I started counted my jars of peanut butter since last March when I started working from home for a while. I lost count but it was between 23 - 30 jars of peanut butter for the year.
Peanut butter fans unite! March is national peanut month and November is national peanut butter month! One helpful thing peanut butter does if you have trouble swallowing medicine pills is that put the pill(s) in peanut butter then into a sandwich. It makes the pill go down easier and you get the taste of PB! Peanut better can be substituted for shaving cream but I've never tried it.

I'm not a fan of his either
Me either, but I DO tend to like him better with Drew Barrymore. I liked the Wedding Singer, 50 first dates, and Blended, but I didn't really like Big Daddy or Happy Gilmore. I haven't watched Bedtime Stories, even though we have the DVD, because I don't know what to expect. But I find some of his songs kind of funny...the cleaner ones. The thanksgiving turkey one always made me laugh.

So our Corona cases are on the rise again (Color me surprised....they open up schools and contact professions like hair salons and driving schools....what do they expect?) and they are taking a break from the Astra Zeneca vaccine over reports of some people getting blood clots (Trombosis) after having that vaccine. So we're behind again on our vaccination schedule and our cases are increasing.
