Finally watched the new Mulan. It was fine. I liked that it was significantly different from the original, but I prefer the original.

I watched the Notebook last night and still haven't decided if I liked it or not. I'm leaning towards nope.

I bought the DVD a few months ago, but still haven't watched it yet. When I do, I'll let you know what i think of it. (Come to think of it,, I also bought Dumbo about a year ago -- and still haven't watched that one either.) :hilarious:

I always wear a watch, just a habit, I guess. Also, I have a bunch of different styles and strap colors, so why not? I'm just like your mother (and my mother) -- I set it 5 minutes ahead! :joyfull:
I know this may sound silly, but I have a much better chance of not being late when I know the exact time that it is. I have never been able to understand that concept of self deception. How does it work? I mean you know what the actual time is anyway because you are the one that set it ahead.

For those that have gone on the Behind the Seeds tour, I'm super curious.... How do they pollinate the plants inside the greenhouses? I've never seen bees or butterflies.

I was fantasizing about buying my neighbors house when they die, tearing it down, and building a huge greenhouse 😂😂 but then I thought about pollinators, and then I wondered about Disney.

When we did the behind the seeds tour we released lady bugs. I think there was a mention of wasps in there too but I can't remember.

One time we released ladybugs they pollinate and eat bad bugs. One guide had a brush and explained hand pollination. Last time we got to feed the fish and eat cucumbers

I've seen bits and pieces but really have no desire to watch it

We liked it in the theater, and still do. It bein’ set in ‘85, when DWifey and I were about the same age as the main characters bein’ portrayed, doesn’t hurt either. All that “80’s”, especially the music, just brings back sooo many fun memories...!!!!! :hilarious:
I’m not a huge Adam Sandler fan, but, I do like other movies he’s done, such as “50 First Dates”, “Mr. Deeds” (which is, of course, a remake of the 1936 film “Mr. Deeds Goes To Town”, starring Gary Cooper and Jean Arthur :)), and a few others.

Hi all. Big changes coming up. I'm applying for my first apartment this week and if all goes well will be moved by the end of this month. It's nothing fancy, just a one room. Dad's been really enthusiastic and it reminded me of this scene:View attachment 539411
Congrats!

And then there's my parents who I'm beginning to think don't ever want me to leave. 🙄 Because my mom basically said to me, "Why do you want to move out? You've got it good here!"

When I had drove my 2006/12 Honda Accords I had to get out the instruction manual from the glove box out on how to change the car clock time. One year the car time clock was off by an hour so I learned how to tell time that way. I also wore a watch which had the correct time. Wearing is a watch is a rare breed nowadays. My mother who has worn the same watch for 40 years sets her watch 5 min early. She doesn't like to be late.

We have no clocks in our home, I’ve never worn a watch, and the clock in my car has been completely wrong since I replaced the battery about 2years ago.
But, both our cable boxes have clocks, and we all have iPhones.
And, according to this site, “clock.zone”, my iPhone is only this far off of the atomic clock...!!!!! :hilarious:
