She enjoys many movies but often falls asleep during them. She does like Romantic Comedies, Hallmark movies, and old classics. This morning we watched an old movie with Cary Grant and Irene Dunne and there was a dog often in it, she seemed to enjoy the scenes with the dog.

ETA...
Which of Cary Grant and Irene Dunne’s movies together was it...?!!! :)

Wow. I can't believe how quickly her facial features have matured -- (not sure if that's the actual expression -- in other words, developed from baby features into little girl features), especially over this past year. She's a cute kid, that's for sure! ❤️

Thanks, Minnie...!!! :)
It is truly amazing how fast she has grown, and how fast her facial features have changed into little girl features. As I’ve posted before, the hardest part has been the less than normal/ideal circumstances in which we’ve had to watch her go through those changes. It has just been so very difficult not to be able to even hug her for a year. Hopefully, that all changes very soon.
it’ll be interesting to see how similar, or dissimilar, her and her lil’ sis may be, but, we’ll always love them both so very much more than they could ever know...!!!!!!! :joyfull::inlove::happy:

HOLY HELL! Getting a stinking vaccine during a pandemic should NOT be that hard! (I also use inhalers and now I'm wondering if when I qualify I should bring the print-out from the pharmacy with all the info on it.)

My mom tried using the state website here in MA to get an appointment near her and my step-dad, but getting an appointment was basically impossible. She called 211 (general information line used for various things, but now set up to handle helping with COVID appointments), and it took 5 days, but the woman at 211 managed to get them appointments at the same time. They have to drive about 60 miles into the city, but she's not griping about that because she's just happy they have appointments and that they're at the same time. They're both over 70. She is a smoker and is asthmatic, and he is a 3x cancer survivor who is still very weak and also had open heart surgery in between bouts of cancer.

I posted this in the “Covid Vaccine Update...” thread yesterday, and this is even including supposed shortages from our crazy snowstorm last month...

As far as vaccines go...
Both my folks and MIL (all in their early to late 80’s) were all fully vaccinated weeks ago. DWifey and myself (57 and 58) got our first dose this past Tuesday evening. Our youngest DD (26) is a teacher and fully vaccinated. Our DS (28) and our SonIL (30) both got their first doses the week before us. Our oldest DD (29) is expecting our second granddaughter in July, so she has not yet been vaccinated.
My next youngest bro and his DWifey (mid 50’s), and their DD (late teens) have all been fully vaccinated. Their son (early 20’s) got COVID months ago at college (Texas A&M) and apparently still has antibodies, so has not yet been vaccinated.
My youngest bro and his DWifey (early 50’s), and their 3 kiddos (teens) have not yet been vaccinated.
I’m not sure about my lil’ sis’ and DH (late 40’s), and their 5 kiddos (pre-teens, teens) in Louisiana though.
The rest of us mentioned above all live in Texas.
Even so, all of us are still following COVID protocols like we did before for now...wearing masks, distancing, and not gathering in large groups. Hopefully, that will change relatively soon...!!! :)

Fridge is going to get put off for a while because the microwave died:banghead::banghead: and the steamer has seen better years.. Duck tape doesn't hold the universe together:banghead::banghead:

Well, hopefully when we all get the stimulus money, you can go out then and buy new appliances. :) (By the way, microwaves are really cheap now, so maybe if you look around online for prices on those, you can find something relatively quickly, and at a good price.)

I got a good deal one the microwave I wanted but wouldn't exactly call it cheap.. I need something bigger than you do and with a bit more power:banghead::banghead: :banghead: The steamer came down in price and I found an excellent sale. Spring cleaning has begun:banghead::banghead::bawling: I started in the boy's bathroom:hungover::hungover::hungover::hungover:

Fyi, here is the one I have. I took the image from the Cuisinart site, but it's sold in many stores including Kohls, amazon and I think maybe Target, too. It's not that expensive. Has worked well for us, and I like that it's not huge on the countertop.

I like that one!!!!!!!!!! It's big enough for most but wouldn't even be big enough to heat up a snack in my house:banghead::banghead: Maybe I should send James up to your place for a week so you can see what I'm talking about:angelic:

When you get the fridge at Sears, you’ll get enough “Shop Your Way” rewards points to get the matching microwave a few days later! (Been there, done that!)

(Need I remind you most of our Disney trips are on Chase points. I don’t like to pay for stuff.)
