Yay year round hayfever said no sufferer ever .
Idk about you, but down south, I only have allergies maybe in the spring. Up here, I have allergies in the spring, then I get a reprieve in the summer, then in September, I get miserable with my asthma (which is when I head to Disney) and then I get another reprieve, and then it's winter, where the cold bothers my asthma. Which when you have to shovel snow and you can't breathe in the cold is lousy. So you're stuck mostly inside, where the air is dry, and you have a wonderful thing known as indoor allergies. And then you repeat. This is with five years of allergy shots and taking a pill every morning; oh how I just wish I lived where it was warm year round.

@Tony the Tigger , hoping Brian is back to feeling 100%, since his recent accident. And oh, how's Kylie? I know that she experiences some older dog issues, but might still be doing well overall. Sending best wishes to the three of you. 🐶
We are at Toyota now, hoping to get a new car (leased.) He is looking at the same one I have, the RAV4.

He has much less pain from the ribs. I’m not sure if I posted here, but a few days after the rib diagnosis, he couldn’t move his thumb and it turned out he also had a fractured wrist.

He just finished his 3rd semester of nursing school with another A. He has been working with the caterer, but not overdoing it. (That was what revealed the wrist issue.)

Kylie seems marginally better lately, even without the anti-inflammatory meds. That’s promising! She’s such a sweet girl/old lady.
🤣

And my stores have not slowed down since Christmas!

Do we all have big plans for this weekend?

Yes, Saturday Donuts With Emmy...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :joyfull::inlove::happy:
We’ll still be distanced from them being inside the house, with us being on their patio with masks.
But, it’s just so beyond frustrating that we haven’t been able to hug Emmy or oldest DD for almost a year, but, we’ll all remain vigilant for as long as it takes. Family is just too important to us to blow it now.
But, ultimately, this too shall pass, and we’ve all remained healthy through all of this, and we are all beyond thankful and feel very blessed...!!!!!

Yes, JACK!! I bought a small package of 6x9" envelopes (still all in package, wrapped in plastic, unopened). Guess what dog MAULED the package of envelopes?!!!! I think he has canine mental illness. :cautious:

I think I’ve posted this before, but, Ranger Danger is a paper canine fiend...no clue why, as none of our previous pups have been like that, but, he seems to love it as much as raw meat...wonder if that makes him an omnivore paper product freak-pup...!!!!! :hilarious:

Oh no! Did he have to have the wrist casted, or did they just give him a brace? My son broke his wrist a few years ago and had a cast for a while. No fun!!!
But yay for Brian doing so well in school!! He's going to make an awesome nurse! He's going to be a hero to so many people...I loved my mom's nurses when she was doing chemo. They were so much fun and just so sweet.

Is the nice weather better for Kylie, or has it not been to cold anyway? I'm glad she's better! And yay for your stores...that must be a relief that they are doing well despite the pandemic. Stores here have been closed for a couple of months and aren't doing well if they don't have online sales. Where I work it is exclusively online, and our sales have increased dramatically in the last year. You do online sales, too, right? Have you seen more online sales than usual?

My goodness! A fractured wrist, too?! :jawdrop: Please let him know that we're all thinking of him ❤️ , and are sending pixie dust to help speed his FULL recovery. (Sorry to hear that he's still in a bit of pain in his ribs.)

Wonderful news that he's finished his 3rd semester (already). Time flies. Good for him, for his continued positive career plan.

Glad to hear that Kylie is a bit better. At that age, all you can do is attempt to manage symptoms, and just let her go about her daily routines. She's probably very happy, and may not even notice that she's slowed down a bit. I think dogs handle stuff like that better than people. ;) They just go with the flow.

That's great about your stores still going strong! That's promising to hear overall, as it's also a reflection of the economy (at least in part). :)

@FutureCEO , will you be watching the Harry and Meghan interview (with Oprah Winfrey) this Sunday night? (CBS, 8 p.m., Eastern) I think it will be very interesting, but maybe a bit too long (they just increased the time to 2 hours). Saw a few clips recently, and my initial hunch (back when they first announced they were leaving Great Britain), was that Harry did not want to see a repeat of what happened to his mother. Pretty much, that's what he said in one of the clips I saw -- after he had seen how some of the British press handled Meghan's time with the Royals. 😟

My mom and I like watching the Hallmark channel. It is a family friendly channel of feel good stories. I was surprised when one of the movies on one afternoon was starring Meghan Markle ( before she met Harry ).
