Glad to help --new technology is not always better and electronics around moisture seems to be a problem. Our old washer was a Kenmore mechanical dial and agitator and lasted 22 years. Just replaced our Kitchenaid dishwasher with a Maytag dishwasher and can't say enough good things about it--made by Whirlpool. Same here can't afford Bosch Maytag was less than half the cost of Bosch
My Whirlpool washer in my primary residence bought new in 1994 still works after 27 years, minus the scratches and missing and broken mechanical dial , agitator still works. Whirlpool dryer is my second after the first one stopped working after 15 years.

So, I've been looking at washing machines, since my present (old) one, leaks all over the floor. :hilarious:

Anyway, I checked a few local stores online and each time I think I found a machine I liked, it gets both good and bad reviews. EVERY SINGLE ONE . . . :banghead:

Then, I was pretty much sold on an impeller (to be ever so trendy and all), but a number of people didn't think they cleaned as well, and they went back to agitator machines. 🤦‍♀️

And of course by the time you add in the hoses, installation, removal of the old one (and some charge for delivery as well), and MA sales tax, that jacks up the prices even higher. 😒

(I came to the conclusion that it's more economical to wear dirty clothes. :p )

But then, I came across one of these, and it was within my price range, and no bad reviews! :D

We had to replace the dryer. New one is coming tomorrow. Heating element went up. We've had Samsungs, so Mom bought another one of those.

If it is just the heating element it is very easy to replace and doesn't cost that much. Usually find a parts diagram on line and instructions (utube) on how to replace it just a suggestion.

^^^^^THIS X2 same goes for the water heater. Now the question is is anybody in your house even a little bit mechanically inclined?

As long as you don't have ice, it is very nice. :)❄️ (That rhymes! :joyfull: )
Snow was melting today. It was its highest temp in a long time with it being 50 degrees as a high.

There is sad news for my younger brothers Island in Animal Crossings: New Horizons is Snow is going to be gone from his island tomorrow despite snow storm on Monday and it is sad news because he made a quite bit of extra money from the ice and snow items he made. Dung Beetles also show up during snow season and you can catch them for more money.

His island is located in Northern hemisphere instead of the Southern Hemisphere. The Southern Hemisphere gets snow from late May to late August.
