I hope DWifey's knee isn't injured too badly, and that she can just come home and rest.

Thanks again, Minnie...!!! :)
They’re back, and her knee is sprained as well as her back a bit, but, thankfully nothin’ worse. But, she also tore her jeans and there was some blood.
She took Ibuprofen, is chillin’, and we’re just watchin’ some TV right now.

Hi All... hope you are doing well! Lots of snow here in Michigan. Luckily we missed a bunch this week as we were in Las Vegas again! It wasn't hot... but it was low 60's most days... I'll take it!

p.s. @Tuvalu I thought of you because we ate at Earl of Sandwich in Vegas for the first time... and I had that Turkey sandwich... boy is that yummy!

Glad to see you back here! I hope you had a good time in Vegas and won tens of dollars!

The sprain is a big bummer. I hope she feels better soon. I know you will take good care of her. :)

Friends not food
I do support those that have that stand, but I have to add a question or two. If animals are not supposed to be food, why did the creator give us a taste for it and if not for that, what exactly is the purpose of animals? Is it possible to imagine what the earth would look like now if no animals were used for food. You'd have friends everywhere you turned, would there be room for us? Would we have cows curled up on a rug in front of the fire place? Whose going to teach them birth control to insure that they don't just starve to death due to the competition for food themselves? Yes, we do some artificial breeding, but those devils are pretty good at it themselves and with no use for the animals and limited natural predator's what would become of them? This is unusual for me but this isn't a confrontational post. It is a question that I have been pondering for a long time and frankly I cannot come up with an answer. The creator put the animals on this earth and the question remains why? Then the follow up question has to be was tofu created just to gag meat eaters? ;)

Don't ask me I don't come from a long line of carnivores that I can trace;) As for tofu I have ancestors that I can trace that did eat that;) Guess we were just trend setters:cool:

A few pictures from snowshoeing today. We went to the golf course that hubs is a member of. It was pretty especially by the river. There were a lot of geese in the river. The actual snowshoeing was a challenge because there wasn’t much of a trail so we had to cut our own through the snow and it was a bit deep in spots. Fun though! Oh and hubs even brought one of his golf clubs and shot a few balls! 🙂

Did you properly feed Jack this morning?
MinnieM123 has one thing going with Jack. She does not own this lamp:

I am saying that because there are dogs that like vanilla ice cream.

I was up late for various reasons and while I was drifting off to sleep he thought it would be a good time to use his air compressor:cautious: but it gets better he woke me up early to ask my if I needed to be up to go shopping:cautious: I swear he's worse when he's helpful:banghead::banghead::banghead: If it was the kitchen he'd be sleeping out in the snow:angelic:
Was that supposed to be a hint? Like..."Hey, we're out of <item>...shouldn't you be up and headed to the store to get more?" or did he think you forgot to set an alarm or something? My husband is usually pretty good about letting me sleep and being mostly quiet, but I'm a light sleeper, so I usually wake up when he gets up anyway, unless I'm absolutely exhausted. I think I'd want to clobber him if he woke me up to ask me to go get groceries. Frying pan!!
