I loved the seasoning so much at the Boathouse, I went online to find it. I'm on my first one. My mom has gone through 3 since I've had mine.

If you didn't know, it's Gibson's

We bought that seasoning because of the Boathouse too and bought a second bottle to give someone as part of their gift for Christmas. The bottle didn't make it into the gift! One time I thought the Gibson's seasoning was the Pizza/Pasta seasoning I put on my pizza so I put a hefty shake on my pizza, it wasn't the flavor I was expecting but was pretty tasty.

I would have had to have watched the inferior musical "Hamilton" for that to mean anything.

@donaldtoo how are things down south?
Thanks for checking, Figgy...!!! :)
Still 6 inches of snow on the ground, as even though the sun was out all day, it never got above about 18* so none of it melted. I can’t really see tryin’ to make it into the office tomorrow either, and they’re predicting even more carp possibly tomorrow night, through Wednesday, into Thursday morning.
We’ll see how the rest of the week plays out, but, we’re supposed to be in the upper ‘60’s over the weekend...!!!!! :hilarious:

How's the power situation. I heard there are rolling blackouts in Texas?

That’s why I just popped on. Heard there are rolling blackouts in Texas. Wanted to see how @donaldtoo ’s family was.

Thank you for also checking...!!! :)
We, my folks, and Emmy, Megan, and Daniel, have not had any power issues, so far. But, Sarah (youngest DD), has been without power at her apartment since early this morning, and BIL, MIL, and niece in Houston only got 2 inches of snow, but, have also been without power since early this morning. We’re just not really prepared for weather this cold down here, and this is only the second time I can remember it bein’ this cold in the 44+ years we’ve lived here.
Fingers crossed that our power stays on, and the others get they’re power back soon...!!! 🤞:)

These temps would not be safe for the drivers with rear wheel drive vehicles. But in TX, is unique but where it feels like 95-100 degrees daily all summer long. I was in San Antonio during a summer and I was melting.

Yep, as cold as it is right now, by the time summer roles around again, I’m sure we’ll have plenty of days of triple digit temps like we do every year...!!! :)
