I made a road trip last week. I drove to I-95 on I-64, then I-95 to I-40 and back to Raleigh. I51 miles just to get me out of the house. Never got out of the car, but it was a nice change of scenery.

Driving on I-95 always triggers nice memories of when we would take our family road trip to go from Vermont to WDW. Mostly on I-95. I always feel happy when on that road. I understand that it is hated by a lot of people, but I only associate it with happy times.
I like the tourist traps off of I-95 driving through Georgia. Stores sell GA, peaches, jams, jellies , homemade food items from GA. I think near the GA/SC border on I-95 Southbound there has been for a number of years small homemade signs posted high on trees advertising moonshine off of the interstate. . Homemade illegal moonshine made by locals is so potent it can wreck your insides . I've not gotten to see and buy it in GA but it seems like GA cops are not to concerned since the advertising signs are still posted .

How did it turn out after you followed the Epcot recipe?

I used the Epcot recipe for the base, their recipe was not meant to have so much broth but I wanted it to stretch for more meals. I also didn't have enough of some of the ingredients so I added a little more teriyaki than it called for and I didn't have as much mirin either. But I did have at least a little of all the ingredients. I'm think the flavor will develop a little more as it sits, so lunch should be really good tomorrow.

These temps would not be safe for the drivers with rear wheel drive vehicles. But in TX, is unique but where it feels like 95-100 degrees daily all summer long. I was in San Antonio during a summer and I was melting.
It has been my experience that nothing, not rear wheel drive, not front wheel drive and not four wheel drive is safe on ice. You have no control on ice and physics take over. Momentum, force and many other incontrollable situation will dictate where you are going to end up be it at home or in a ditch. Front wheel drive is safer on snow as is four wheel drive, but that also depends on the driver and the speed used.

I haven't been to Menards in almost a 2 years now but the last time I was in the store there was a decent sized grocery section. I was surprised, they had also sold some candy and chips but now it was a mini-grocery store.
Go figure. Ours has maybe as much food as Walgreens.

I've been gone so much in the year of CoVid thanks to remote work...:cautious:

Which has been nice, especially for my poor asthmatic lungs that don't like Maryland air. I had to get my flu shot in SC because I downright couldn't breathe up here.
We got our flu shots first week of October.

Haven't been on much, where did you stay at WDW this time?

Is there a way to get them to sponsor you to come to the US to find a job? Or do you have to have a job before you can get a visa? My husband used a fiance visa I think, which has different rules, so I'm not sure how it works when you want just want to immigrate for work.
As far I know.. nope, they can only "recommend" me to a job, but not sponsor.
Sponsorship only works in direct line, as in brothers or husband-wife or citizen parents to daughters and sons.

Menards? The home improvement hardware store?

Yep. They have a food section at their store. They do have sales on food in the sale paper including ribs at times.

I ate ribs that were bought from there before. They tasted great and are much better than they are at Famous Dave's. You just have to fellow instructions when you put them in the oven.

It doesn't matter if the food comes from a home improvement hardware store as long as the food you buy tastes good.

I worked for a whole sale meat broker at one point in my very early 20s while waiting for a specific position after college. Learned a great deal about quality of meats that I took with me through life Beyond taste. Organic, grass fed. Also meat is graded and certified. Some people, care about what the given creatures are raised eating And drinking. Personal choices.
