Another snowy day in New Jersey...View attachment 530215
Wouldn't that make biscuits? It was really good, but I'm not sure I like the texture of the dumplings cooked in the broth, so I think next time, I'll make the soup mixture, then I'll transfer it to a baking pan and spoon the dumpling dough on top and bake it like my mom's recipe so they are golden brown like biscuits. My husband didn't like it at all, and I was kind of prepared for that, because he also doesn't really like chicken a la king...I think there's something about creamy chicken and bread mixture that he just doesn't like. I think he's not really a chicken person anyway. He doesn't really like baked chicken, he doesn't like fried chicken...he'll eat some things with chicken, like Alfredo, but he's more of a beef person. To each his own, I guess. E and I liked it a lot.

Not sure if this affects you, but I do know biscuits are affected by altitude. We learned that in Montana
If you're at a high altitude, this is a good read. If not, ignore me

Did you buy from a family friend or something? That's a LOT of cookies!! I don't see any thin mints....are they hidden or are you one of the few people who won't eat those?
I'm watching snow fall outside and enjoying the non-guilt of staying home all day
Same here in CT! Have about the same on the ground and expecting up to 9" by tonightI'm in MA, and where I live, we have about 5" so far. It's really pretty to watch it. We're supposed to get 6-9, and I'm thinking we'll be closer to 9" by the time it stops.
I’ll fill you guys in later, but this used to be the front of Brian’s car (pic is from a Disney trip full of love bugs.)

After most of yesterday in the hospital, he is home with two broken ribs. He is in pain, but still doing his schoolwork in bed today.
Thank God for airbags.
At least you tried it. That’s ok. Yeah try what is good for you. Yeah sounds like he is a beef person. It still had to be towed, but was nowhere near as damaged. Folks inside were fine - again, thank God. I’m guessing this all would have been worse had he hit a lower vehicle.
It was a head-on collision, and B was at fault. After working 16 hours, he was 2 blocks away from work after closing. It’s a less-traveled curved road leading from a warehouse district to the main road. He said he got in the car, started to go, windows fogged up, he turned on wipers but couldn’t see and drifted into the oncoming traffic lane.
Glad to hear everyone is ok.Good eye.
