Wine is good;)
It is when when cold. I'm no different than my parents and My younger brother. We do not like warm wine. My younger brother and I once had warm wine at Supper Club my mom picked for her birthday with it being a birthday toast, but the wine did not taste good warm.

My younger brother and I very rarely drink wine. We drink Wine or Non Alcoholic Sparkling grape juice for New Years day meal, Easter dinner meal, Mother's Day dinner meal, Thanksgiving meal, and Christmas Day dinner meal. I mentioned sparling grape juice because there has been years that those meals did not have wine. I did not have wine with my New Years Day meal.

My parents did get wine from the wineries Door County in the past. My mom even got this in the past while in Door County:

I don't get all the love for Olive Garden to me it's a step above cafeteria food. It's not bad just a bit meh
Well, maybe if you have a lot of really great Italian food, it might not be great. But if you love Italian food and normally don't have access to it, it's great. There was an "Italian" restaurant in Laramie that opened, and I was so excited to try it, so my boyfriend at the time and I went there for a date night. It was awful. I ordered the spaghetti and it tasted like just crushed tomatoes. There was no flavor at all....no seasonings. My boyfriend got alfredo, which was one of his favorite dishes and it was also bland like there was nothing in it but some flour and either oil or butter, but nothing else. When that is your alternative, Olive Garden is heaven. We didn't have an Olive Garden in Laramie. The closest ones were in either Fort Collins, Colorado, or in Cheyenne, both more than an hour drive. Wyoming isn't really a hotbed of culinary excellence.

Olive Garden has the “Tour of Italy”, as I’ve had it there before.
We have an authentic Italian mom and pop/family-owned place down the road, in our neighborhood, less than 5mins. away called Reale’s. It gets praise all over town from food critics and customers, alike. It’s run by an Italian family that moved here from New York about 40 years ago, with family recipes that are over 100 years old. I happen to like Olive Garden well enough, but, Reale’s is decidedly better...!!!!! :hungry::hungry::hungry:

I've obviously never been to Reale's, but yes, Bisetti's is also way better than Olive Garden. It's owned and operated by an Italian family and it's soooo good. It's one that if you don't have a reservation, it can take more than an hour to get in. It's really popular and you can't really just walk up. I'll take Olive Garden if I'm not in the Fort Collins area, but if I have the choice, I'd go for Bisetti's any day. Unfortunately, that's an hour and a half drive from Laramie, so it's not always doable. Sometimes you just take what you can get.

Well, it's pretty much Olive Garden or nothing where I come from. If you have the luxury of really good Italian food, good for you, but not all of us have the options you have. I'll take Olive Garden and be happy with it!

Believe it or not, I've never been to Olive Garden. (Runs and hides . . . :p )

I have seen photos of the food though, and at least it looks good. There are some locations in my state, but none near me. (Not to mention, we haven't been to any sit-down restaurant at all, since last February, even though some have limited indoor seating.)

Was out of the house most of yesterday. Youngest had a competition. Her one team got first out of 7, and the other got 6 out of 8. The scores were close and they had a one point deduction. Spectators aren’t allowed so us group of parents parked next to each other in the parking lot and tailgated. Someone brought a trailer and had a grill. The dad cooked all this food. Kids waiting their turns to go in ran from car to car to stay warm and played games. Luckily the sun was out and I had numerous layers on. We made the best of the situation. It is really tough not being able to watch and support your kid, but us parents got to know each other better. Most just drop and leave for practice because the viewing area is closed. I always stay cause I drive so far. Anyway, very happy with the first place, and with some perfection, the other team will do well three Saturdays from now.

You aren’t missing that much. The atmosphere is nice. The food is eh. You can make better Italian at home. Well, maybe not “you”😉.

One of my all-time fave silly flicks...!!!!!!! :joyfull:
I also love how in “Coming to America” the Duke brothers have a cameo...
Don’t know if you’ve seen it, but, at one point in the movie Eddie Murphy’s character runs across two homeless guys laid out at night and gives them an envelope with thousands of dollars in it. He puts it in the one guys lap, and when he looks up it’s Mortimer, who subsequently wakes up Randolph and Randolph, upon seein’ all the money, then declares “Mortimer, we’re back...!!!” :hilarious:
Of course I have seen it. Forgot about that cameo though. 🤣

I went to price some items on Amazon today and noticed that nothing would be delivered until Thursday:eek: Then I went to check some items I've gotten as soon as overnight, yup all Thursday delivery. Anyhoo I ordered what I needed from Walmart and am getting it delivered tomorrow:eek: These are items that would not be delivered until Monday. Hunting season may be a few hours early:angelic:
Have to check on Dh’s birthday orders.
One item is coming today, the others have bumped to Wednesday. Just little things. Got him a Key West Tee shirt, a Key West license plate for the front of his car, and a mini replica of the Southernmost sign.
