I've gone into anaphylaxis a few times...never over foods. Over medications twice, and once over a vaccine. Now if I get a vaccine other than the flu shot, I have to get skin tested before I get it. I'm praying I'm not allergic to the CoVid vaccine.

A couple of weeks ago I broke out in hives. I still have no idea what triggered it.
I don't have any information what is in the vaccine, but there is something about the vaccines I heard about.

My younger brother had his allergy shot on Wednesday and asked if the allergy shot would affect with the vaccine shot. He was given answer it is very early, but give at least a week between the 2 shots. They don't know if the allergy shot would cause a reaction to the vaccine at this time

My younger brother asked that because he works at a hospital and his occupation at the hospital is the 3rd in line for getting the shot. He is under patient services. The deal with the hospital is the field they are in the hospital affects when they get the option to get the shot and his field is expected to get it next month since the doctors and the nurses are first.

There is something to keep in mind with information how the allergy shot relates to the vaccine shot. More details should be coming before you receive it since you are not a hospital employee and it is something should be asked depending on what category you would be under getting the shot.

I'm apparently in the next group for Maryland. Phase 1B is high risk adults, which I am. I'm hoping the Moderna vaccine becomes available soon because it kind of sounds like that one has less of a risk of an allergic reaction. I'll wait until they actually get to my phase, though.

OK, I guess I'm just getting more sentimental or just stressed over the events of the last few years, but I ran across this a few days ago and it touched something in me. For a few moments it pushed all the curmudgeon aside. Don't worry it will be back soon I'm sure, but I would like to share this. It takes almost 4 minutes, but it is so worth it and gives me a little hope for the future. Plus it might just help some cope with some of the bad experiences this past year. Please take a few moments to listen to this, I think you will be glad that you did.

My Joffrey's came yesterday! It was a good day!

Many years ago (I can't even remember exactly when), the Polynesian used to have real Kona coffee (not a blend) that they served. It was some of the best coffee I've ever had anywhere -- I used to sometimes hop on the monorail (if I was at MK) and go over there in the morning, to buy a cup at (what was at that time) a walk-up coffee counter. It was on the 2nd floor next to a sit-down restaurant.

Anyway, I doubt it was Joffrey's brand, but your post just reminded me of this coffee lover's memory!! :)

the pressed pot coffee at Kona cafe is pretty good. Maybe you’ll have to try it when you get back there someday.
