Have not seen those yet, but, watched “White Christmas” on TCM earlier today...!!! :)
Also, caught “Bombers B-52” on TCM Friday afternoon, which I hadn’t seen in years, starring Karl Malden, Efrem Zimbalist Jr., and Natalie Wood, from 1957.
What’s amazing to me is, the B-52 bomber was introduced in 1955, is still in service, and is expected to be until at least 2050.
Nothing says Christmas like B-52 Bombers, I always say. 😄 I'm sure with your aviation experience that you know that the model B-52 is still in service because it was a terrific, very functional plane, but I think not the same ones that existed in 1955. I would think that 65 years of service would be quite a candidate for metal fatigue. I would also think the cockpit looks almost nothing like they did in 1955 either, but the exterior is hard to tell one from the other.

We have more! We transform our house into a Christmas haven. The first time one of my friends walked into my house at Christmastime she said "It looks like Christmas threw up in here!". It might be a bit over the top but we love it!🧑‍🎄🎅🤶
It is not over the top to me:). I am accustom to that type of decorating. My younger brother has called my bedroom not normal for Christmas decorating.

I grew up with a lot of decorations during Christmas time inside the house and outside of the house.

Yep, and very familiar with the reference/timeline you alluded to...but, won’t go any further than that here regarding such... :cautious::cool:
Definitely, vastly improved in many ways beyond the original model, but, yep still almost no way to tell the difference, aesthetically anyway.

Yesterday, on Turner Classic Movies, I saw one of my favorite (black and white) Christmas movies -- A Christmas Carol (1938), with Reginald Owen in the starring role. (I'm sure before Christmas, I'll also see the 1951 version with Alastair Sim before Christmas, on either AMC or TCM.) :)
The 1938 version is always the last thing I watch before going to bed on Christmas Eve
