You haven’t had real “whole” milk ‘til you’ve had it fresh from the cow and still warm...!!! ;)
We used to help our grandmothers milk the cows. We’d skim the cream off the top of a bucket-full, put it on a saucer, add sugar and cinnamon, and enjoy...good times...!!!!!!! :joyfull::hungry::happy:
You can have my share or my medical bill. Your choice;)

Regarding your response above to 93boomer, it reminded me of when one of my brothers had goats. The goats were hilarious--always climbing up on anything and everything. (He had an old car out back that he just used for parts. They loved climbing up on the roof, and then they'd skid down the windshield, and hang out on the hood for a while. They were also really calm animals, and friendly.

He didn't do the sugar and cinnamon add-ins like you did, but he'd drink fresh goat milk. (I'm trying to recall if he strained it first or not. I also don't remember if it was pasteurized or homogenized, or whatever. I vaguely recall he mentioned something about one process he didn't need to do, unlike when you buy regular store-bought milk.) Anyway, he survived, so the goat's milk apparently didn't kill him. :p

That stinks. Check your hourly forecast before heading out so you know when it's safest to do so. Good luck
I ran into the same dilemma yesterday when I went to Charlotte. My grandson was bringing his TV back to his dorm. It rained all the way there, quite often torrentially, and I remembered that I had one of those Dollar Store $1. poncho's in the glove compartment. Luckily, the rain stopped just long enough to unload his stuff before the heavy rain started up again. A whole dollar saved. And on top of everything else the 5 hour round trip drive made a big dent in my road trip jonesing.
