crap.. just noticed that I'm assigned to DHS on the 3rd.
And The site is not letting me change anymore.

i think the change for boarding procedures is helpful. Since you are staying on property you can try for the boarding pass in your room at 7am and the park doesn’t open until later so after 7 you can go back to sleep or have a nice breakfast without rushing to get to the park before opening. If you don’t get a boarding group at 7am just make sure you are in the park by 2pm so you can try again.

And it's not even November yet.
Not necessarily all that out of the norm. I can remember many a Halloween trouncing through snow and cold. The one I remember the clearest was about 24 years ago I remember flying back on Halloween from Boston to Vermont, during a blizzard, in one of those little toothpaste tubes we laughingly called an airplane. Good times.

Yes but normal for 24 years ago is different than normal today, My parents have a video of my sister and I during a snowstorm in late April. Now a storm in April (like feet) would be outside the norm.

I wish our "local" place had that service. When my last washer died it took 2 weeks to replace it. 2 of the longest weeks of my life! I can live without my stove for that long because I have enough gadgets that could fill on for it but if the washer was out of service I'd be out of luck. That makes for an interesting question. What would be the hardest appliance to live without?
For me, I think the washer....if the washer goes down, I have to do laundry by hand in the bathtub. My in-laws live too far away for me to be able to go there except on weekends. I can't wait a whole week to do laundry. I don't think there is a laundromat here...not that I know of anyway, and until I get a drivers license, I would have no way to get my clothes to one anyway.

We spent 6 months without a functioning bathroom . Downstairs toilet only and inlaws and friends generosity, made for an interesting time.
Before we actually moved into this house, we had to renovate a lot and we didn't have a bathroom during the day. If we had to go, we had to go to a store that had a public bathroom. But we weren't sleeping here then. We spent the day here and then went back to my in-laws' at night. We'd go to the bathroom when we went to get lunch or pick up paint or light fixtures, etc.

Last night B discovered the site that shall not be named. He got completely worked up over a rumor that they had posted. We had to explain to him that that website is not reliable. And also why we call it the site that shall not be named.
I have no idea which site that is. Is it a Disney site? Is it only not to be named here?

Yup. Hid it in a planter before security and told their child to keep an eye on it...even though it was loaded and had a round in the chamber.
How did she plan to retrieve it once she got through security? Glad she was caught. I guess she has been banned from Disney...I hope her six year old is ok, because the article I read said she blamed her six year old who was supposed to watch it. I'm guessing she's pretty ticked at the kid, so I hope he/she doesn't end up paying the price.

If this is true this individual should/must be prosecuted to the full extent of the law obviously this person knew what they were doing was wrong/illegal. FYI I have a CWP and would never repeat never bring a firearm into the parks.

She hid the gun in the planter inside a pink purse, then went to get her brother to bring it back to the car (he may have been in line at security?), leaving the child to watch the purse. That's what I'm worried about, too.

My son, daughter in law and granddaughters (6 and 8) will be waking up at CBR this morning. They did not tell the girls where they were going so when they wake up it will be a complete surprise they are in WDW. Wish I could be a fly on the wall to see and hear their reaction. Shannon(mom) brought costumes and they will all be dressed for Halloween. I am so jealous
