Hubs accused me of pandemic boredom decorating today. :p Bought a new rug for the living room, rearranged a few things in there -- and get this -- I even cleaned the room, too! :hilarious: He wanted to take me to Urgent Care, because he thought I lost my mind. :D

Meanwhile, our dog, Jack, is now scared of the living room, because something has changed -- and he hates change. I tried reasoning with him, "Look, it's just a cheap $49 rug from Target; get over it." 🤣 He's been pacing in the hallway now for a while . . . 🤦‍♀️
Awww.....poor Jack. Change is hard for some. A was really upset for a while when I got a new shower curtain for the bathroom. When E chopped her hair a few weeks ago, she asked him what he thought and he said "It looks weird!" He doesn't do well with change.

My daughter has a pit bull like that. That is an awful mean name isn't it? PIT BULL!!! She is the sweetest huge, muscular dog you could ever hope to find. It is a good thing because she is a lousy watchdog. A person could break in and they'd find him in the morning, licked to death. She doesn't need to be mean, once you lay eyes on her, you will do whatever is necessary to get completely out of that particular zip code.

Anyway, something changed in the dining room and she stopped going in there, even to get free regular food handouts from everyone. Her water dish and her food dish have been sitting in the corner of that room since they first rescued her
and fortunately it is a small corner and has direct access from two different rooms. From the living room she would stretch her neck around the corner to eat and then go all the way around the other side, down the hallway through the kitchen and stretch her neck around the entrance to drink her water. Weird! No one knows what changed in the room to spook her that much, but that was over a year ago and she is just starting to actually enter the dining room to eat from her bowl and from the plates of generous dinners.

Bringing back such memories. I built a "loft" bed for my daughter. She put a bunch of luminous stickers on the ceiling of stars and planets that she could see when the lights were out. She, however, quickly tired of not only getting up and down from it. (built in ladder) but making the bed was a total PITA. Used it for firewood just a couple years later.
Loft beds and bunk beds are fun until you have to change sheets and make the bed
