Thank you. My mid size hatch back....my Mazda CX-5 was filled to the ceiling and up against all windows. As I drove here yesterday my rearview mirror was therefore useless. It was as if I was driving a U Haul Rental truck. 😉
If that is Lynchburg College, I knew people that went there. Central VA is quiet and scenic. Perhaps too quiet for me but for some it's good.

Have you tried this:

Here's how to turn Bluetooth on or off in Windows 10:
  1. Select the Start button, then select Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.
  2. Select the Bluetooth switch to turn it On or Off as desired.
When I get to the devices and Bluetooth, that on / off switch isn't even on the screen. It is on the screen on my computer. Hers doesn't show it. So weird. It even shows her airpods. When I click on the airpods the boxes that show connect/ remove aren't even lit up. They are gray @StarWarsGirl She has already started her meetings so I cannot really go and mess with her computer right now.

My next thought would be to uninstall and reinstall the driver software associated with the bluetooth. It's pretty simple; it reinstalls with a restart.

Don't remove the device. After you uninstall, restart the computer. It'll force the driver software to reinstall. Then try turning it on.

We've been to Lynchburg. It is a nice town.
Sunday, when all the needed things are already completed today and Saturday...on Sunday my wife and I will drive around and look at the surrounding area. Thinking mostly about relocating here IF hypothetically 5 years from now our daughter got a job working here at the University. My daughter is a Communications Major and the University loves to hire those students once they graduate. Hire their own😀😉

Yep did that earlier as well. Did not work.

Communications must be a popular major. My next door neighbor’s daughter also starting college now is a communications major as well as another daughter of a friend of mine.

I was telling my son that when I was in grade school, I had to do the following-

Call a radio station to request a song, never getting thru.

Have a tape and tape recorder ready for if a song came on.

If I missed a show on tv, I couldn’t watch it on demand... would try to remember to set VCR.

Called a phone number to find out the time and weather.

He especially got a kick out of the last one. 😂
Explaining a busy signal and not being able to leave a message, always freaks out my kids.

If we missed a TV show the best we could hope for was a rerun during the summer. Three networks, CBS, NBC and ABC. No VCR's.
And they didn't broadcast 24/7. :jawdrop: I had to try and explain that to DS when I watched Poltergeist with him. Why are they playing the National Anthem, and showing a flag waving, then nothing. Well son, because after that, there was nothing. Wait, what?

I remember Mom explaining that to me when we watched Toy Story 2. I was soooo confused. Like, what?

I need outside advice..

The indoor soccer facility sent out an email.. Winter2 teams can finish out their schedules.. This is the team the I coach.

We have 2 games left.

So far I’ve had 5 parents say their kids will play (including me), 3 saying they aren’t comfortable (which I totally understand). Still waiting on 4 more.
Honestly, I fully expected these 3 to decline, and expect one more specific family to decline, but am fairly certain the rest to play. I made a point to say that I am not expecting anyone to play, realize it’s a personal decision, all may not be comfortable.

One of the “no” parents just proposed, in the team GroupMe, to just cancel so the kids who aren’t allowed, are not upset that they’re left out.

I don’t know how I feel about doing that. I don’t know if we even have enough to play yet... but if the majority of remaining say yes, then do I really decline/forfeit because of the 3-4 no’s?

Hmmm...I would try it again. You may need to uninstall multiple devices. Don't worry about it; they'll reinstall upon restart. Sometimes it doesn't work the first time around; don't ask me why.

Screenshots of the error message you're getting would also be helpful for identifying the problem if that doesn't work.

That part of VA is definitely cheaper to live than many parts of NJ!

@StarWarsGirl or @Cesar R M My oldest has all these zoom meetings today and for some reason her air pods are not connecting to her computer. The computer says the bluetooth is off. I went to the drivers and there is a qualcomm bluetooth driver. It says it is updated because I tried to update it. Then I noticed it says Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems (error code 43). I uninstalled it then restarted the computer. Still have the same issue. When I restarted it the driver was back. Still showing bluetooth is off with the same error message again. Any idea what to do?
You need to be careful with Qualcomm drivers.
Just like the idiotic Realtek drivers, they have a problem when installing and identifying the correct product.

To resume: their drivers are AWFUL in a very specific way. they have so many chipsets with very wide identifications that a lot of the times, windows will automatically get one driver and it will incorrectly install a variant of that driver for your device.
Windows will claim it is the correct driver and should work, but in reality it will be botched and will not work properly. Because it is NOT the correct driver.

Anyway, is your computer a laptop? is it an internal bluetooth ? or it is an external dongle?

Have you tried this:

Here's how to turn Bluetooth on or off in Windows 10:
  1. Select the Start button, then select Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.
  2. Select the Bluetooth switch to turn it On or Off as desired.

Error 43 means that the device is not turning on from the device manager (at the device level). Which kinda makes this irrelevant.
Imho, this is a drivers issue. Probably incompatibility or botched drivers caused by the latest Windows patches (fairly common how these Windows patches ruin your drivers)

Friday was my favorite. There was something really nice about not having to do lunches on Friday.
I forget, are you going back in person, or remote? Private schools by me are advertising that they will be in person. Best thing to happen for them.

If you are remote, I saw on a local FB page a small restaurant is playing with the idea of offering "school lunch". You have to order in advance. DD loves the empanadas, and that is one of the choices. 2 empanadas with rice and beans. Maybe a sandwich place by you is doing something similar? That way you could pick it up the night before, and special treat lunch would be ready in the fridge.

We are going back in person.. though they just decided to offer a remote option. That option does not make any sense to me, I can’t imagine who would do it. Minimal live instruction, parents must help with lessons- full tuition- school has discretion to revoke a student’s remote option if they are not performing well. Would make a lot more sense to homeschool or switch to public, if a parent has time to do lessons! It’s basically the exact same as what we did in spring, but were forced, so it was justifiable.
