You can keep the fried okra 🤢
Fried okra a southern staple you just ain't southern unless you like fried okra. You will be escorted out of NC shortly Ha Ha
I enjoy eating fried okra, chitlins, gizzards, American Indian fry bread and pork cracklings when in NC at the buffet.

Did someone say fried oakree? Might as well throw in some fried taters and fried green maters too! Oh, and bbq chicken with peaches, mac and cheese, cornbread and fresh sliced onion.

Records are so last decade. It's all downloads now 😉
They aren't even last decade, they are more then three decades ago. But, I understand they are coming back because people prefer the sound of scratches and player arms jumping (skipping) to high quality digital sound. Go figure! Anyway back on topic of heat wave. And yes, that is to hot for to long for living animal.

Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno was excellent. Why don’t people talk about this place more? Maybe they are trying to keep it a secret. Got the Italian omelette with bacon, sausage, potatoes and Sunday gravy. And a pressed pot of coffee, I think this is my new favorite Joffrey’s blend. 😍

Are they no longer doing the princess breakfast? That breakfast had good reviews if I remember.

I've had them and although they don't exactly ring my bell, they are OK. Not something I would travel miles to have again. I do love grits however, so that makes me partial southern and I have a granddaughter that was born here, so by default I am now southern, y'all!

You and @Mr Ferret 88 have some explaining to do to @Tony the Tigger about records;)
