A couple of months ago, they said there could be a vaccine as early as October/November. Just yesterday, I read that a company out of the UK had had good results with one they were testing and millions of doses have already been ordered despite it not being completely finished with the testing process, but it could be ready yet this year.

I think every country is on a race to produce it and are fighting each other. Who knows if its for prestige, priority for their citizens, or monetary gains.
But the fact that there were news about companies trying to steal the information from each other a few days ago.. yeaah...

I could not complete the monkey bar challenge., fell 3 times then just swam.
This yellow slide was hilarious.. T and friend said I had to jump, so I did.. I bounced 3 times, probably very gracefully, that’s what it means when bystanders are laughing, right?

I've seen those apple gizmos before; but I'd use it so little, that it would just be another thing in the way in the kitchen cabinet.

The city I live in Wisconsin already already ruled all schools are not allowed to open. Today, Wisconsin has a new record of 1, 117 positive cases. We might be going a little down in a couple weeks hopefully, but I doubt it.
What caused this is easy. There is a bunch of stupid stuff happening. The suburb has an outdoor beer garden, but people have not been wear masks with no social distancing. Citizens of door county wanted mandatory masks due to a lot of tourists not wearing them, but the supervisors of the county decided masks should not mandatory.
The bars and beaches have no social distancing with no masks on. The city I live in now has a mandatory mask law for outside and inside, but it has as much holes as Swiss Cheese. People protested yesterday, but none were were masks at all despite the mandatory mask law.

Mine is almost as old as James and was worth every penny!!!!!!!!!!! At the time it was about $10. Actually it's 13 months younger than James it was bought on his first Lancaster/Hershey trip.

I heard on GMA this morning that this particular vaccine is ready/almost ready(?) to go into the second phase of testing. It not only builds up antibodies to protect, it also builds up T-cells that attack the virus. So far, the only side effects have been mild flu-like symptoms in some recipients.
Fingers, toes, etc., crossed...

What does a tween night entail? My daughter went to one once and hated it. She said it was stupid and they didn't do any of the activities posted on the posters and she was just bored. I don't know what happened, but they wouldn't let anyone leave until it was over, so if you weren't having a good time, you couldn't just call your parents to come get you. She never went to another one.My kid is currently on his way to Tween Night at the club. 10-12 year olds only. Adult chaperones.
Tween Night. My kid. T. Is going to a Tween Night.
I’m experiencing a wide range of emotions right now. I’m so not ready for this.

They have a DJ, decorations, neon lights, pizza, drinks, all at the pool- this is the only section open due to social distancing, apparently it’s usually in the clubhouse too.
An adult has to sign them in and out, but it’s not a lock in. It’s from 6-9pm.
Only up to 22° today. Best Put on the thermals

One heck of a storm cane through my town last night just as dh got home, literally. He just made it into the house. Wind and rain came down like I never saw. It was so hard that we couldn’t see past our back deck. Down the hill a neighbor’s tree snapped. We had a storage trunk and wheel barrow get moved 25 feet. They are both pretty heavy. We lost power. We had just ordered pizza for the kids also. Called the pizza place and they were out of power. My friend on the other side of town said they still had power. So we drove when the rain stopped to get the kids some takeout from the other side of town. As we drive we saw loads of strewn trees. There is a farm near us that has barn weddings. The roof of the barn was partially torn off. Get to a main thoroughfare and stoplights are out. One building was collapsed. A beer distributor had its roof blown off. Saw a completely uprooted tree that fell against the side of a house. Luckily it looked like the house was ok. Saw trees on top of cars. We still don’t have cable, phone, internet. Power came on around midnight I think. We have cell service. Must have been a bunch of microbursts. I have never seen that kind of damage around here.
