Yes, but you have to start to understand that your obsession with "cooking" borders on the pathological. Most people, and I say this with a certain amount of confidence, would have a need maybe twice a year and the majority of the attention that it would get would be to find a place to store it and not be in the way. Unless one owns a bakery or are "you" the need isn't so great. ;) 😛

Power came on around midnight I think. We have cell service. Must have been a bunch of microbursts. I have never seen that kind of damage around here.

Yes, “lobster gravy” Grandma. Some of you will get that. She was the best person in my life (for my whole life. Brian got here much later!) She broke the rules and let everyone know I was her favorite.

Services are tomorrow morning, and I “can’t” go. I planned to skirt the FL>NJ quarantine by flying into another state and driving the rest of the way. I know I’m healthy, the only risk was getting pulled over. Fine.

Long story short (and sad) my younger brother is paranoid about the virus (so am I, I have asthma) but to an extreme degree. He talked my mother into it being a bad idea for me to go. She didn’t forbid it, but her intentions were clear.

I’m respecting that, but I’m all kinds of furious (and kind of devastated.) Took me this long to post anything. I’ll probably explode on the political thread later.

At this minute, I can’t see bothering with the family again. (This is just another thing in a long line of things.)

They can apologize in two weeks when I’m still not sick, but I can never get that day back.

I am so sorry for your loss. Treasure the good memories. It might be too difficult now, but down the road they will be there.

I feel your pain. We lost 4 huge branches out of our trees. They are all about 8-10 ft long each. Leaves shredded and all over the yard. I haven’t seen those kind of winds and hail in years!! Hope we all don’t get another one today!

I had a good scare mind you..
I tried changing the cable.. since its the most probable cause and because the support tech said it might be the cause.
And nope, still failed.
I was started to panic and replaced the Coil, which supposedly almost never fails.. and finally worked.
I was getting very robotic voice for a day and half but it slowly receded to become normal sound.

Did you get another coil in case it fails again. You will be glad you did!
