I honestly don’t know. Our governor says that we’re spiking and increasing public emergency, though my county is orange, but the county with Cincinnati is in red, as is our west neighbor, and north, 2 of which we’re all in almost daily.

Like I said though, things are reopening (but still not everything), sports have resumed now (with some modifications), and he’s not calling for that to stop, but talking about mandatory masks in public.

To say I’m confused is an understatement. I feel like I don’t really know what’s going on.

ETA- to make sense of that- the area on the southwest corner- Butler, Warren, Hamilton, Clermont- we’re all one area “Greater Cincinnati”, many people in 2-3 of the counties on any given day.
My brother lives in Morrow County...Mount Gilead Ohio. According to your visual, his county is Level 1, the best of the four levels. That's good.
Lord help us please! I'm praying for an entire country that will become Level One.

Good Morning! This week off has gone WAY too fast! I can't believe I only have 3 days left!

Yesterday's fun was paying for a new igniter for my gas oven... It's been misbehaving for about 2 years now... sometimes it'll light, sometimes it won't, sometimes it'll take 45 minutes and then light. I was tired of playing and finally called a guy to come replace it. He charged me more than I thought he should have because I did all the diagnosing... but meh... it's finally done and now my oven lights in 25 seconds or less!

Currently I'm preheating my dutch oven so I can bake the bread I've had proofing overnight. YUM!
Was it a repairman you've used before? Our dishwasher was leaking once and my husband called the wrong repairmen...there are two that have the name with "service centrum" in them and he got them mixed up. They came, looked, told us they couldn't fix it and charged us 40 bucks just for coming to look. He was here literally less than a minute and charged us 40 euros. The guy we usually use isn't like that. He's really honest. He'll come and look and tell us if it's something we can do ourselves and always gives us a really good price for fixing what he does fix. A good repairman is like gold!!

The states with the most sustained caseload drops are Hawaii, Nebraska, South Dakota, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey and New York.

So don't come to our states.

Things will probably be different (worse) after 4th of July.

What kind of bread? Glad you got your oven fixed, bummer that the guy charged more than you thought he should but like you said at least it is fixed. We have a button going out on our oven, it is a frequently used button to adjust the temperature. I have to press it super hard to get it to go but hubs thinks it is fine for now.
Who uses your oven more? I find that my husband isn't particularly motivated to get appliances fixed if he's not the one who uses them. For example, my washing machine broke a few years ago and my husband waited for 3 weeks before calling the repairman even though I was doing laundry by hand in the bathtub. (I didn't know who to call and when I asked, he just said he'd take care of it) Then when the dishwasher broke (dishes are his chore), he called that same morning, hoping to have it fixed by the next day. It's much more urgent to him when it affects him directly. Perhaps B doesn't realize how much of an inconvenience is because he's not the one dealing with it?

There’s a lot of people going to the Jersey Shore this weekend.. the economy really does need it. We have to find a balance of health and prosperity. So many of the areas you mentioned, have a very limited time of their “season”. People make the bulk of their annual income during the summer months. Crowds will be down from previous years, and restrictions in place, but that area really does need tourists to survive. Balance is key.

I use the oven more, right now it is annoying but still usable. The church owns our house and appliances and if we called them up it would get fixed right away, the council has always been really good about that. Like last year Brad mentioned that the dishwasher was on the fritz and the next day the dishwasher was ordered and installed a few days later and that was the case with our washing machine too. But right now with everything going on we don't want to inconvenience anyone or have the church put out money unnecessarily if something isn't totally broke. I don't like to be super pushy about things for the house either, the pastor's wife before me, which was 17 years ago, was very demanding and I just don't want to seem that way.

What an incredible job. I love the modern style for the creativeness. Your client should be thrilled.

I always find personal interpretations interesting. For your client, you knocked it out of the park, and this is his new home sweet home. (For my simple tastes, it looks more like like a modern-styled office building to me. ) Then again, I'm not forward thinking in my living arrangements--my home of choice would be a small log cabin in the woods. ;)

P.S.: If I had a cabin in the woods, I'd invite Figgy's dear deer (her BFF :inlove:) to come and visit me! :joyfull:

Thanks, Minnie...!!! :)
Not exactly my cup o’ tea either, but, I wouldn’t turn down inheriting it...I’d just sell it and build/buy somethin’ more to my liking...!!! :D;)
I really like mid-century modern, but, I also appreciate the warmer, more woodsy styles, including lodge, craftsman, and bungalow.
But, even if the style isn’t exactly what we would build, we hafta’ put ourselves in our clients heads and turn out what makes them giddy...!!!!! :hilarious:
Also, the partner was out of town, so I didn’t have any input from him. When I was finished, I sent him the PDF, and a coupla’ minutes later I got a 3-word email back from him... “Perfect! Render up”.
So I sent the PDF to our office assistant, and she did the color rendering, as I needed to start rough sketchin’ another design for one of the other partners. This one is gonna’ be a modern country French style, so I hafta’ change gears yet again.
Thankfully, we’re still sooo darn busy...!!! :)
Also, the architectural styles of both homes were the wives choices...!!! ;):)

I understand not wanting to be demanding, and being conscious of the current situation. You sound kind and appreciative. However, I am sure that your parish would want you to have a fully functional oven! That’s part of being a parishioner, supporting our pastor. I think everyone is more than willing to make sure a pastor (and family when applicable) have what they need. :)

I stopped watching MTV in the 90's when they stopped playing music I liked and reality shows took hold.

I remember when MTV first came on the air in ‘81, and the first video they showed was “Video Killed the Radio Star” by “The Buggles”...!!!!! :hilarious:
It was all the rage at the time.
I lost interest in the mid 80’s, as every act was just tryin’ to outdo each other, and it just got boring to me. I was out way before any of the other stupidity.
