And see, that's the only reason I'm okay with going. My gym is actually reopening, and I had them put my membership on hold because people won't be wearing masks. But I'm okay being someplace outdoors if I have to wear a mask. Down here the rule has basically been no mask, no service, so other than when I go to the trail, I wear a mask. I'm used to it. If it means I can go have fun, I don't care.

We have reservations on July 3. Not planning on the Boardwalk for that day. Not sure what we will do about the masks if we do the Boardwalk. Might just take our phone pouches and stuff them in there.
Everyone has their own opinion on this and I respect that. Infection control was something I have been educated on due to my past professional background. I respect everyone who wishes to wear a mask because we live in a free country. I respect Hershey Park as a business that feels it needs to enforce mask wearing based on what they feel they need to do to open. I will not be going until they lift that restriction. My kids may be a bit disappointed, but we have only gone to Hershey Park in the summer once anyway for my sons birthday last year. It gets too crowded with out-of-staters.

This one looks kinda nice.

My grandparents on my Pops side had 2 man made livestock tanks on their farm, a trough near the house, and a small creek. My Moms folks had a tank on the other small farm down the road, but, not on their main farm where they lived. The cattle stayed pretty close to the house and drank from a trough. There was also a small creek on that property, as well. Besides also being stocked with fish that we caught, we also used to shoot big bullfrogs with .22’s that my grandmother would fry up, and we also used to swim/skinny dip :D in them. Along with all the fish, bullfrogs, turtles, etc., and the occasional water moccasin that we had to scram from...!!!!! :hilarious:
For reference, the tank closest to the house looked a lot like this one, and the one past the pasture off into the trees looked almost exactly like this one...I had to do a double take on this pic ‘cause it’s not mine...!!! :)

I'm not expecting too long lines this year with the reservation system.

Since we had our season passes we got used to being up there at least once a month, so this has been hard. Not to mention Disneyland got cancelled, which was disappointing. We're just of the opinion that masks are a fact of life for now. Our governor ordered that they be worn basically everywhere, so I've gotten used to them. It's a minor inconvenience at this point. Whereas being able to go and do some of the normal stuff we're used to doing is huge. B has been so excited since I told him. Bouncing off the walls practically.

Also, I've been out places, and I used to pick up colds all the time. Not a single cold since this started. Allergies are terrible,

The water looks so refreshing. I bet you have some nice and sultry temps. We have a cooler day today. Not supposed to get passed 70.

@StarWarsGirl Did you get the email from Hershey Park yet saying how they will now be charging payment plans for passholders bi-monthly instead of monthly? I don't see how that is very fair. Seems like that is not what we signed up for.

YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! POISON IVY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Take a shower with DAWN dish soap if you had any chance of touching it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes including your hair in case you touched your scalp!

When we were kiddos and we knew, or thought, we may have been exposed to poison oak or ivy, we took at least a 20 minute soaking bath with 2 caps of Clorox mixed in. Ive had both a few times without knowing where I actually came into contact with either, but, never got ‘em after takin’ a Clorox bath...!!! :)

Not until you just pointed it out to me, lol.

I gotta go back and look for sure, but I think I only have one or two payments left. Mine started really early, like July of last year. So all in all, not a big deal for me. I gotta read the contract too, but I think it said they reserve the right to change the terms of the payment plan.

I am both a lawyer's daughter and a heartless finance professional. Really bad combo. 🤷‍♀️

I just realized we only have 4 payments left.
