Woke up at 3, so...walking the pup! Super quiet out, with no zombies walking around! Peace and quiet. Hopefully this puts us both back to sleep. 😴

I've been having odd sleep patterns too. Not enough continuous sleep. I am nocturnal by nature but this lockdown has me with too little physical exercise that I am use to, I am an avid walker and bike rider when weather allows. The weather the last few weeks has not cooperated. We have flooding happening as the storm keeps recirculating off Lake Michigan, going counterclockwise picking up more moisture and dumping it again and again, same set of clouds and repeat.

How are you guys doing this week? And the Pup? :inlove: I've missed a great deal here the last few weeks, did you get the small business stimulus? Praying you did. 💖

I had a strange dream last night too. I dreamt that I was living at our town’s library with my dog and I went to check out a book and all of a sudden robbers came in to rob the library . I escaped with the dog and started to call 911 but I saw the robber start to murder people. Then all of a sudden I was at my childhood house And it was 40 minutes later and I called 911 back and asked them why the police hadn’t shown up yet. They told me it was because the police were helping someone who fell off a bike, scraped their knee and needed a bandaid! As the phone operator was telling me that I noticed the robbers had murdered everyone and were drinking tea, I asked them why they were drinking tea and they said they were waiting to be arrested. It was such a bizarre dream.

How unnerving. I read it to my DD she too was creepity-out too. Sleep well.

Love that plan. I think golf courses can open Friday here.

My son has temporarily been transferred to their golf courses for at least a month. He has been sheltered at home working doing his budgets etc. He has had to lay off or furlough 275 of his employed. It has taken it toll. It is him and his two Ad-Mins that are still employed. The furloughed were give 4 weeks of pay before being furloughed. They closed long before the state went into shelter. So son will be transferred to the golf course as his department is too iffy to open for now. All those years as a kid and a young adult paid off, temp transfer vs layoff or furloughed. The handful of hundreds and hundreds of employees still working today are the full timers, upper-management are being outsourced to other departments to retain them. Someone has to be left for when it is safe to re-open.

You are correct in guessing that it is IMPOSSIBLE to find hand sanitizer anywhere in New Jersey. My household has some remaining, but not much. I believe my wife experimented with watering down bleach and it was"ok" according to her. How are you @Songbird76 ?
You know, I haven't looked for bleach here. It's not used for laundry here...there's no such thing as Clorox. They have what they call "Thick bleach" and it smells the same, but it's not for laundry. I use it to sanitize my kitchen countertops.
Hand gel you can buy in the travel sized bottles, limit one per customer.

Neither her or her husband (or even their kids) are really human ;) When she and her husband were dating, back in college, they would come to my house for spring break, with other friends too. They would be out late drinking, then wake up early (as in 7am after getting back at 3:30-4) and go for a multi mile run..while their friends were still sleeping off the alcohol from just a few hours earlier. It was nuts.
They are definitely a perfectly matched couple.lol. Their kids walk around on their hands more than their feet, and my nephew is constantly just dropping into pushups for fun. I feel sorry for his coaches if they ever try to reprimand him with pushups, he’d love it. That kid has been switch hitting in baseball since he was 4 years old... They had their entire house child proofed because nephew was literally climbing walls and furniture, as in to the top of a liquor cabinet to sit and then climb back down, then his little sister came along and did the same. Instead of telling him not to climb, they had all of the furniture secured to the wall. It used to freak me out when babysitting. They’re all freaks, I’m telling you. 🤣

Someday she won’t be able to carry on as she does now, I don’t know how she’ll handle it. She’s had so many injuries and broken bones.. and all 5 metatarsals, in her right foot, are now metal. Yet she still plays soccer, runs marathons, triathlons and trains every day like she has one the next week. Arthritis will eventually set in, but she said she’d rather do what she loves, than slow down just to delay the inevitable. She and her husband both inject each other with air shots at home, her a little more often, it does help her.. though creeps me out.
My dad is the exact same way, he trained and played for years after multiple surgeries. He only quit when it was physically impossible to go on, now he can barely walk. My dad is the main reason that she chose her profession, watching what he went thru, and wanting to help people. Though she would never tell her patients to do what she does.
What are Air shots?

Yup rain again for the next couple of days. I've been doing some power yoga that beats you up and gets the job done:cautious:

Some good news today, the Arborteum that hubs and I are members of is opening its 3 mile drive tomorrow. The drive goes past all the daffodil beds and the tulip beds (where about 35,000 tulip bulbs are blooming) and out into other areas. As part of the opening "tickets" free to members have to be reserved online and a timed entry will be given. People have to stay in their cars but I reserved a time for us this Saturday and next. Daffodils and tulips are my favorites so it would be worth it to me just to do the drive. If this goes well the Arb said that they have a phase 2 reopening plan for some of the walking paths! This is great news! For as much of a Disney fan that I am, the closure of this Arboretum has actually been more depressing, probably because I go here more often than Disney.
