Obviously, the mayor is a joke. There is no way Disney can do this without the virus still hanging around like it is.
The same way it survived every other illness that has plagued this century such as Sars-Cov-1, and the swine flu, and the yearly flu that kills tens of thousands. Life goes on. Cannot hide in your house forever. That is all I will say on this subject.

It has only been 4:15 for about 2 years now. Prior to that it was 5am, but that had become too difficult as the kids got older. In her words “if you want something, you need to do what you have to do to make it work” I agree with that philosophy, think I live it, until I talk to her. 😂. I just know myself well enough to know that I will never get up at 4:15 daily, I wouldn’t even do 5. 6-6:30 is my schedule, which isn’t time for a proper run/workout....Which is why she’s pure muscle, and why I can no longer button most of my pants.🤣
She agreed to train me a couple of years ago, when I started to notice changes in myself...but then fired me, her client, because I was late 3x. Lol

We both played sports and fit our whole lives, but I have never been on her level of fitness. She’s my little sis, but I definitely look up to her for things like that, even though I know that I’ll never get up at 4:15am, nor will I make my own protein bars for the family, and have a freezer and fridge full of neatly-separated- in -optimal serving sizes- meal prepped meals and ‘snacks’, nor will I run 7-11miles multiple days per week. BUT, I ask her advice and implement what I can. I have to do something at this point. I can complain or I can get back in shape. I’ve been doing the former for over a year now, it’s time to do the latter.
Are you sure your sister is not a robot? Have you seen her birth certificate? Does anyone actually have that much energy? I could never do it...I need down time to relax and read, or get on here, etc. I would love to start running, actually, but I'm afraid it's not in the cards for me with my hip. I take one wrong step and I can barely walk for a week. Running is not conducive to stepping carefully, and my hip gets angry when I just walk fast, so running isn't going to happen.

paging @SteveBrickNJ to strike up the band!

Are people using Clorox in lieu of hand gel?
You are correct in guessing that it is IMPOSSIBLE to find hand sanitizer anywhere in New Jersey. My household has some remaining, but not much. I believe my wife experimented with watering down bleach and it was"ok" according to her. How are you @Songbird76 ?

Neither her or her husband (or even their kids) are really human ;) When she and her husband were dating, back in college, they would come to my house for spring break, with other friends too. They would be out late drinking, then wake up early (as in 7am after getting back at 3:30-4) and go for a multi mile run..while their friends were still sleeping off the alcohol from just a few hours earlier. It was nuts.
They are definitely a perfectly matched couple.lol. Their kids walk around on their hands more than their feet, and my nephew is constantly just dropping into pushups for fun. I feel sorry for his coaches if they ever try to reprimand him with pushups, he’d love it. That kid has been switch hitting in baseball since he was 4 years old... They had their entire house child proofed because nephew was literally climbing walls and furniture, as in to the top of a liquor cabinet to sit and then climb back down, then his little sister came along and did the same. Instead of telling him not to climb, they had all of the furniture secured to the wall. It used to freak me out when babysitting. They’re all freaks, I’m telling you. 🤣

Someday she won’t be able to carry on as she does now, I don’t know how she’ll handle it. She’s had so many injuries and broken bones.. and all 5 metatarsals, in her right foot, are now metal. Yet she still plays soccer, runs marathons, triathlons and trains every day like she has one the next week. Arthritis will eventually set in, but she said she’d rather do what she loves, than slow down just to delay the inevitable. She and her husband both inject each other with air shots at home, her a little more often, it does help her.. though creeps me out.
My dad is the exact same way, he trained and played for years after multiple surgeries. He only quit when it was physically impossible to go on, now he can barely walk. My dad is the main reason that she chose her profession, watching what he went thru, and wanting to help people. Though she would never tell her patients to do what she does.

In desperate times, one can spray vinegar or rubbing alcohol into their hands. It smells but it's better than germs!

All, soccer is not officially cancelled, but now training and games is extended til June (no shock there).,. They will still be having “tryouts” next month on the regular dates, meaning only that parents have to register for tryouts, and coaches decide is they want to extend an offer or not.
There is no guarantee that the current kids will stay on, even though they haven’t played a game. Offers will be based on player performance at winter training sessions..and if coaches had a kid on their radar.

So basically, a kid who went to supplementals, and spring was his/her first season.. paid all of the fees.,bought all of the uniforms.., may never actually see a game with the club, same with kids who made the team last year, they might only get half of the year they committed to.

Crazy. I was wondering how they would do it.
