My daughter was shopping, noticed these and sent me this picture telling me that I could still have one without spending thousands to do it. I responded that I had already tried them and although they were tasty they were also smaller and just didn't have the same feel. I told her that I was sure that spending thousands to have a Mickey Bar is what give them that special flavor. That and Pixie Dust!

I saw them at Target the other day!! And they were on sale! I did not purchase any, the seasonal ice cream shops are now open in our area, we’ve been trying to support them by buying ice cream at those locations. (too often ;) )

Well, it isn't all that hard to resist since they have mostly come with the Disney pricing firmly in place. That pricing is fine when I am surrounded with interesting things to do as soon as I finish. The only thing in my sight is the kitchen and dishes that have to be washed. Not at all the same mood.

It's the view. That is what makes it so good.

@Gabe1 I just read your comment about the donations. Crazy how much this affecting everything. Thanks for sharing, I would have missed it.

To the thread- You all have been invaluable to me over many times during the past few years. I never thought that I could “like and appreciate”people who live in my phone’s browser, but honestly I do appreciate you so much. I’d hate to see this place end (even if I do get placed in Disney Jail often) ;)

I so rarely go into the politics section. If I want to debate politics, I can walk downstairs and start talking to my dad. We had an entire debate over the current economic situation yesterday over breakfast. Which I won. It ended in me silencing him. I told him he's not the only one who took college level economics and walked away. My mom stood there shaking her head. 😂

I absolutely love talking about politics, current events, and history. It’s funny that some of my closest friends are polar opposite of me, lifelong friends... we debate, no one ever wins, but I do think we appreciate where each other stands, even though we don’t always agree. As long as someone is informed and active, I can always respect it, while fervently disagreeing ;).. though we do usually find at least one political subject where we do have common ground.
I can have friends who have opposite political beliefs, but I couldn’t date or marry someone who is opposite in that regard, it would be too difficult, for both of us 🤣

@21stamps if he doesn't get to the point soon, we're both going to miss it. I hate how much he frontloads boring carp. Start with the stuff we came for, then talk about your task forces. Ugh.

My rep got here at 2, I just said I had to take a call and went on my phone to check.
He’s supposed to be unveiling the May 1st “Phase 1 Plan” today. I’m recording it at home, but I’ve been waiting for this since he told us, on Friday. Ugh.

So I live in a 1927 (or 1943 debatable) house. For some reason people always take the old wooden doors 🚪 off the closets. When we bought it, two of the three closests upstairs were missing doors, my basement, and the glass one that goes in the entryway. I did find one door at a garage sale for $10, that’s on my closet now. Today someone was giving away the same style doors for free on our walk. Walked my happy right back home and got my SUV. Now I have two new doors. Just missing that glass pane door for the entryway.
