Well, we finally made that turkey that’s been in the freezer since Christmas! (And by “we,” I mean Brian.)

He picked up a little ham, I didn’t criticize him for getting sliced ham (much.) And there are some Brussels sprouts, homemade tiramisu, and what not off camera.

Typically, a half-Italian home would do lasagne as well, but that would have been overkill (and my job 🤣.)

B took some over to his Dad’s a little while ago so his stepmom didn’t have to cook.

Nope, nope, whole lot of nopes there.

I already knew that was a thing elsewhere, but...nope. I personally will be glad if handshakes decrease or go away after this because I already didn't like them, and I will especially be happy if the practice of hugging goes away after this. I pretty much don't want to be hugged by anyone who isn't a close friend or related to me. I don't kiss anyone besides the cats (if I were to get a boyfriend, I'd make an exception there, but no one else).

I have the American need to personal space to an extreme.
Yeah, it makes me really uncomfortable. I'm fine hugging close friends and my immediate family, but I feel like kissing cheeks goes too far. That can happily go away!

Unpopular opinion:
I still haven't seen it, but I'm not really a fan of the first one, didn't really like 2 all that much, and I haven't seen 3 or 4. No real desire to either.
I grew up with 1 & 2. 1 came out the year I was born. I dislike 4 because I feel like it was inconsistent in it's ending to what he others set up, especially with Woody. And not enough Buzz.

When I had my tonsils out, there's only one thing I remember after coming out of anesthesia: there was a tape of Toy Story in recovery, and I tried to put it on myself. A nurse stopped me and put it on for me. I don't think I watched the entire thing or even paid half attention to it, but I was like, "Cool, lemme watch this." 😂

B made us watch Toy Story 1 and 2 so much growing up. 1 was called "Buzz and Woody" and 2 was "Buzz and Jessie". 😂 I think he stole my Jessie and still has it, though I took back Tour Guide Barbie.

With the help of Christmas leftovers I made us a nice Easter brunch. I had frozen ham, cheesy hash brown casserole, and cheese tartlets at Christmas time and we rediscovered them in the freezer a week ago and decided that would be perfect for Easter. Hubs also wanted to eat bacon today so I made that. To make it more of a brunch I also made biscuits with sausage gravy and then scrambled up eggs with fresh chives and feta. It might not look pretty but it was tasty!

The Kapono and I relaxed upstairs while hubs watched last years masters golf tournament.

THNX for asking. It was quieter than usual and I may even have left overs:eek:
