Brazilians. 🙄
I have had several occasions when I was near or in line with Brazilians. I personally never had an issue. Yes, they were a group of young people having a good time with their friends, but never noticed any problem on the rides or during shows. Maybe I was just lucky, but I have run into them in WDW and Universal and I never saw any line cutting or chanting outside of queue lines and walking along. It never bothered me, in fact I felt a little jealous that I wasn't able to just let loose and enjoy myself. Generally Americans, at home, are way to uptight.

The only time I ever got upset by a group of people at WDW was in the Country Bear show. When people all started to sing along loudly and stomp their feet so loudly that I couldn't hear the actual show. I guess I had happened get in the same show as the Country Bears Cult. All non-Brazilians.

I'm a firm believer in being somewhat of an ambassador when I travel to other countries. I know people will judge Americans based on their experiences with Americans they have met. So I try to not be the "stupid American tourist", etc. My husband had several languages in high school. I took 1 year of Spanish, and 3 years of German....French was not offered. I had to give up my German when I learned Dutch because the words are similar, but pronunciation is really different and it confused me. But when we go to Germany, I'll ask my husband to help me order in German...I'll ask him how to say something in German so that I don't make an idiot of myself, but don't look like an ignorant American. In France, my husband has been the one to speak because he was the only one who could speak French at all. But my husband always tried to speak in French and he'd ask in French if they spoke English if it wasn't working out, but people just really seemed to disdain foreigners, whether they tried to speak French or not.
Agreed,

We are so embarrassed by some Americans and the way they act, that sometimes we just say we are Canadian if asked, when we are in a foreign country!

It is my Birthday and all the restaurants are closed. So my kids ordered me one of my favorites for later tonight. Maggiano's has curbside order pickup. So it will be salad, Spaghetti with meat sauce along with a meatball. 'Slurp' Illinois relaxed some liquor laws and you can also order beer and wine with your take out curbside orders.

You must have been lucky. They are obnoxious as a general rule. They came out of the Pixar theater last trip chanting. Loudly. A CM walked up, clearly a manager, and put a stop to it. Then we could hear them across the park a few minutes later. The line cutting bothers me as well. I've seen your groups from other South American countries cut too, difference being I can do something about it. The thing is I see the American cheer groups and all coming and they seem to be having a perfectly good time while not behaving rudely, and they're about the same age.

My mom was so done with them last trip that she was telling them off in English. She didn't care whether or not they understood. I don't care whether it's acceptable behavior in Brazil; it's not in the US.

I've never had any problems with Brazilian families, the groups of kids are just as obnoxious as any other groups of kids. I hope Disney does something about all of them.
We only have had issues with Brazilians in large groups or tours. My son said many CMs hate to encounter them as They are notorious line cutters all day long, they pay cash Lot toss money at them and drop change on counter and it rolls off everywhere. I dislike mostly the adult men in shows. They participate and disrupt. Basically I have found the adults to lack any form of manners.
