There's not at lot to do in NJ since everything is closed but take out places, pharmacies and gas stations.
So, I am spending a great deal of time on Youtube.
Here is an amazing & fascinating video for folks who read music. There are many Pop & Rock songs from our modern era that have lifted from Classical music. The young (but dignified) host of the video presents the modern vs classical pieces side by side in a clever way.....making the connection between the two musical pieces very clear. Disclaimer : Clear if you read music notation. for sure...non music readers can still hear the similarities and might still enjoy  watching this video. If anyone DOES enjoy it, please let me know;)

Thank you I didn't so much watch it as listen to it but it was perfect for finishing up getting dinner ready. Asian oven roasted pork butt pot roast for the guys, red lentil veggie curry for me

How's she doing? Well I hope. Is she up to a treat yet?
She's down in the basement. Thankfully we saw it happen and I noticed her left front leg swelling, so we got a Benadryl in her pretty quickly. I don't think it was on her paw; I think it was somewhere on my leg, though she's got so much fur that I couldn't tell where.

She's not happy about the pill.

Did you watch Kristoffs song ?
Umm...maybe?
We put new batteries in the scale. I was right; I've lost about seven pounds. Not sure how as I haven't really been trying that hard, but I think I may be the only person who may come out of this quarantine thing thinner than when I started.
I’m actually right there with ya, about the same number of pounds. When I’m a little stressed, I eat. When I’m crazy stressed, I can’t eat.

Poor Jasmine! I had no idea you can give a cat Benadryl. How much do you give?
You're supposed to give half a tablet. We do it for Belle before she gets vaccines because she doesn't react well, but you can give it for beestings as well (same for dogs).

She slobbered so much up that we have her the entire thing. It was not fun for any of us.

Wow! That is a really cool video. I had noticed similarities previously to classical music with modern pieces. I was brought up on classical music. Had to start listening to rock in 9th grade though when kids thought I was weird for not knowing certain bands. 🙄 I really love classical music still. My favorite composer is Bach. I love the Orchestral Suite #4.

I'm glad you liked it.
Since you still enjoy classical music, some day try this....
9 minutes and 37 seconds. The finale of Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto is exciting!
