There's not at lot to do in NJ since everything is closed but take out places, pharmacies and gas stations.
So, I am spending a great deal of time on Youtube.
Here is an amazing & fascinating video for folks who read music. There are many Pop & Rock songs from our modern era that have lifted from Classical music. The young (but dignified) host of the video presents the modern vs classical pieces side by side in a clever way.....making the connection between the two musical pieces very clear. Disclaimer : Clear if you read music notation. for sure...non music readers can still hear the similarities and might still enjoy watching this video. If anyone DOES enjoy it, please let me know

Somehow, we got a wasp in the house, Jasmine went after it and got herself stung, and then it took two of us to pin her down and give her a Benadryl.

The boys survived their first lock down haircut by my dh. Needless to say James is not happy at all but my older ds is happy as in if it's free it's for me type of happy.

I just watched the Newsies on Broadway on Disney Plus. It was fantastic. The actual movie could use an updating.

She's down in the basement. Thankfully we saw it happen and I noticed her left front leg swelling, so we got a Benadryl in her pretty quickly. I don't think it was on her paw; I think it was somewhere on my leg, though she's got so much fur that I couldn't tell where.

She's not happy about the pill.

We put new batteries in the scale. I was right; I've lost about seven pounds. Not sure how as I haven't really been trying that hard, but I think I may be the only person who may come out of this quarantine thing thinner than when I started.

My wife and I got fried chicken from Roy Rogers. We enjoyed that. Hope Jasmine is fine now.

I can't speak for everyone, but just got my delivery of treats, kibble, and flea and tick treatment delivered from Chewys.

It's to bad that Chewys don't sell toilet paper then there would be some left in the stores

Not the ones she is interested in. Not yet, anyway. This might change for her group. Or, she might be able to take it early fall. But, if she wants to apply early decision, she probably won't have scores available in time.

I think they may cut slack. When oldest took the ACT, she got the scores about 3 weeks later.

You're supposed to give half a tablet. We do it for Belle before she gets vaccines because she doesn't react well, but you can give it for beestings as well (same for dogs).

She slobbered so much up that we have her the entire thing. It was not fun for any of us.

Wow! That is a really cool video. I had noticed similarities previously to classical music with modern pieces. I was brought up on classical music. Had to start listening to rock in 9th grade though when kids thought I was weird for not knowing certain bands. I really love classical music still. My favorite composer is Bach. I love the Orchestral Suite #4.
