DH is on 12 hour shifts for the rest of the week off Saturday and Sunday. At least I pack him portion controlled meals:hilarious:
Is he working from home? Or can he not do that?

I'm ready to clobber my husband. He's working from home and he keeps throwing things away instead of moving them. If it's not something he uses himself, he figures it can go. And I got up this morning and went straight to the grocery store and the drug store while he was sitting watching the news and eating breakfast. I come back, put the groceries away, unload and reload the dishwasher, then finally try to sit down and have some breakfast and watch the news myself and he starts bugging me about what he can throw away. NONE OF IT!! Leave it alone and let me have 15 minutes to watch the news! :banghead: He did handle A's meltdown about having to do schoolwork, so he's forgiven.

Oooooooh, you bought the whole series? (I did too, but several years ago) Enjoy!! And I don't blame you. I'm reading the Seven Sisters right now and they are really popular, even in English here. So I got the first one from the library after being on the waiting list for over a month. Read that, then got on the waiting list for the second. It came in and I realized I had accidentally reserved the Dutch version, and then I got the third in English, but I'm still on the waiting list for #2 in English and the library is closed....by the time it's open, the 3rd will be due, but I don't want to read it before reading 2. So I'm going to have to go on the waiting list. Again. I'm tempted to just buy them, but I already have so many books here I still need to read and while I liked the first one, I don't know yet if I like them enough to shell out the money for the whole series. So I'm trying to be patient.

Peeps, if you get a chance, please remember the grocery store workers. They're all working so hard, and some for long hours as well, to stock the shelves for this unprecedented influx of shoppers.

Yesterday, I was in the grocery store (luckily it wasn't as crazy with people as the previous week), and I saw a man stocking items in the bakery. I went over to him and thanked him for working so hard on behalf of the community. He stopped for a moment, and said he really appreciated that, and wished me a good day.

I did. My rule around buying books is that they have to be ones that I want to read multiple times, or they're ones I'm having trouble getting out of the library. These qualified on both fronts.

I'm making it a goal to read about half of the books on PBS's 100 most loved books list. I gotta say, when I picked up Outlander, was not expecting I'd eventually become obsessed. 😁

That is so thoughtful. Thank you for the reminder!

He has to go in. Everybody is working at least 10 to 12 feet apart. The good news is they have enough soap and hand sanitizer until the next century and everybody is using them or the get the boot

I always do that, it's one of the few good manners I have:angelic:
