I just don’t think it’s funny. Joke in person if one wants to.. but leave it off FB. I have the utmost respect for moms who homeschool... but I am so sick of reading their memes the past few days.

There’s a difference between planning to homeschool, and now figuring out how your kids are going to learn at home while you’re off at work.
Oh I haven't seen any homeschooling ones. Just ones about this situation in general.

B got sent home with a packet of work. This will be very fun for my mom. Although at some point I figure I'm going to get stuck with it.

My dad told him he needs to be more like me and work during this whole situation. Could have knocked me over with a feather that I'm the example.

Hey that’s great that your dad said that!!! Remind him of it the next time he worries about you over something else. :)

Did they have a hard time adjusting to listening to you in that way, or did they adapt and treat it like a teacher scenario relatively quickly?
My older two were 9 and 7 at the time, so I never had a discipline issue. I think organization is key. Know what needs to be done each day ahead of time. Lots of curriculums are set up so you know what to do each day. It just gets tougher transitioning younger to older. The older two started more independent work last year. I show them how to follow their schedule and they know what needs to get done each day.

I forgot to tell you all some good news...when we came back from vacation we only had one teeny tiny (about two inches high by one foot across) pile of snow in our front yard. The back has a few small ones because it doesn't get sun, they are a couple feet wide but only a couple inches high. When we left some of the snow banks were still about 3-4 feet high! Snow, snow go away. Sorry @MinnieM123

That’s what dads do! I’m over 40 and my dad sometimes still worries like I’m a teenager. 🙄
Honestly, I'm more surprised when he doesn't freak out over stuff. And you're right about the teenager thing...

Take Grandma to South Carolina by yourself? Yeah that's cool. She's better off with you there.
Drive your brother to Hershey Park? Okay, don't crash. If you wanna grab a hotel and stay overnight, that's fine too.
Fly back and forth to Hawaii by yourself? Cool cool. You can do 5,000 miles on your own.
Going out? Going out where? With who? And will there be boys there?

😂😂😂
