I can’t remember if I’ve shared this before, but, Google Earth caught my pop on his way to mow a neighbors yard. It is my pop all over...an amazing man as well as our mother...the best folks anyone could ever have...!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow $340 for a baseball bat! I just can't wrap my head around that. :jawdrop: Why is it so expensive?

It’s relatively expensive for his age, but it’s not the most expensive. I think they go up to like $700.
Crazy.

His first size bat was around $40, his second one was $150, and then my dad wanted him to have a good bat, so he bought him the other one last year.. he did take him to the store to try it first. I don’t understand why it doesn’t work for him.

BTW...
The Salvage company has packed all the “salvageable” (we’ll, ultimately, determine that ;)) items out of my folks home, and they’re goin’ to be cleaned and put into storage until the house is repaired, and they can move back in.
The remainder will be put in the packed out garage for us to determine what goes and what stays.
The asbestos remediation via sheetrock removal begins Monday morning.
This is not something you want to see your parents goin’ through when they’re 80 and 87 years old, yet, they’re facing it like the down-to-earth people they’ve always been.
Still very gut-wrenching not to be able to just pop in and say “Hi!!!” at their place, but, the temporary digs will do for now.
Again, no pity party here, as my folks are alive and well, and that is by far and away the most important thing. Since we are such a close family, it just really still hurts a bit.
But, we’ll all be gathering back at “Family Central” in no time, so more family gathering pics to follow...good Lord, I love ALL of my family...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You sure you didn't eat beets or something with the red food dye?
I did not eat any beets. The closest to food die is tomato sauce, but the signs pointed to unlikely for causing it unless there was a very sudden change.

The problem is I first seen blood even before I ate Spaghetti for 3 days. I first had this issue last Wednesday morning and I did not eat anything that would something to look like blood.

I did not make the spaghetti, but it was served to me despite the person knew I had blood before the meal. The other catch is I had foods with Tomato sauce less than a week I started the blood issues. I had Frozen Pizza 5 days before the first time I noticed red while going to bathroom. Last month I had the Tour of Italy at olive garden and that had Tomato sauce as ingredients for 2 of the 3 foods.

I had nothing red the day before. I know I ate a couple sugar cookies and 2 pieces of Hershey kisses , but I had no signs of diabetes during my blood work on January 21st. There also was no Glucose found in my urine also during my sample on last week Friday despite the 2 Hershey kisses and a couple sugar cookies from the night before.

I did not eat anything red on Wednesday, Thursday and today. There was no reason for me to have red from bathroom today for the first time I went. I had Chicken Pot pie on Wednesday and Thursday. On Thursday I had Chicken pot, 2 croissant rolls, crackers, oranges, short bread cookie, to toast with I can't believe its not butter to eat. On Thursday I drank 14 cups of water, and 1 can of orange juice. I drink 4 cups worth of water for the Urogram. 8 of those cups of water and a can of organ juice were after my urogram as a way to clear the x-ray dye out.

I drink 1 cup of water 6 hours before the urogram for Thyroid medication and another cup 5 hours before the same scan for another medication.

I did not at anything red on last week Tuesday, this week Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

So we went to open gym today at the new gym. Youngest was there with 2 other kids from the other gym. They are all in the same age group. They had so much fun. There was also one girl who had been on the senior age group team and one girl who had been an athlete at our old gym last year but transferred to what will be our new gym for the current season. I have known her mom for about 8 years. The young ones tumbled together and then the 5 kids created their own stunt group. It made me so happy to see them working together. What was also nice was an older boy who trains there helped the girls with the stunts and acted like an extra spotter. So the kids all came out happy and we will be signing dd up for classes there starting next week. The coach who had been watching the kids came out to talk to us parents and said the girls worked really nicely in the gym. So while what happened really stunk, things happen for a reason.

Well, I think you have found a positive solution in this gym. Happy to hear that DD had a fun time and fit right in with the other kids. I'd say this sounds good all around!! Finally -- an end to the drama. Things are looking up! :)

That's tough to watch. (And I also realize that you're dealing with the loss of your childhood home. That, in itself, is difficult to come to terms with.)

I admire your parents. They have a positive spirit and willingness to pitch in, and make things better. Not everyone would have reacted that way, particularly at their age. Shows what good emotional energy they both have, and that's 90% of the battle right there. God bless them.

Mr. Ferret, did you really take this gorgeous picture, or did you find it on Bing or Google? The reason for my suspicion is that I don't see any metal cage bars in the photo; and as a ferret in a cage, I don't understand how it's possible for you to take such an unobstructed image, from inside a cage. :cautious:

I was going to say that it looks like a picture he posted last year

Thank you! I am hopeful that it will be a great fit for us.
