No matter what other insurance was in effect, besides the jail/Juvie time they deserve, they should hafta’ pay that all off to the tune of sticker price (no haggling in this case ;)), plus TT&L, no matter how long it takes. But, these days, most likely mommy and daddy will probably bail ‘em out, ‘cause they f’d their spoiled rotten brats ***** up in the first place.
Friggin’ pigs.

They're still searching for the 4th, but you know, with 3 of those losers presently in custody, they'll "sing". And, of the 3 they have, one is 18 years old (thank goodness - they can charge him as an ADULT, release his name, get the cameras rolling for the eventual "perp walk", etc.).

Agree with all you said above.

Anyone want to play travel agent, please?

I’ve narrowed down to 2 resorts..

Hotel #1

Pros-

•Gorgeous tranquil decor.

•Participates in the Wave of Change movement.
- No plastics (cups, straws,etc)
- Responsible consumption of seafood.
-Coastal health

• Coral breeding grounds (which I think is amazing!!!!) I have to attach the additional info here, just because I’m absolutely thrilled that they’re doing this.

• Several restaurants, pools, activities, sports, and water sports.

CONS-

• Concierge section is Adult Only.

•Mini suites only

I read ahead and noted that the consensus was # 2 hotel. Guess I'm the only one who would vote for # 1. I'm assuming concierge service for adults only, "might" be due to liquor laws (no minors). Perhaps concierge service at #2 hotel, might have a more contained area for liquor, and therefore, concierge is open to all ages.

Anyway, I think they're both good hotels, and I wish I also had such a nice dilemma!! ;) (T seems like the type of kid who would be happy no matter where you choose to go.)

Why are you selling the car? Are you moving to the States and plan on buying an American car? :p

Oh, (somewhat unrelated) but since we're talking about cars --

There was a news story this morning about some teens who decided to steal two, new Lamborghini's from a dealership in my state. Around 3 AM this morning, they broke into the showroom and drove off in two of them. Because the morons couldn't drive, the car in the back rear-ended the one in the front at an intersection stop. Cops caught 3 of them, but a 4th idiot is still at large. So there you have it -- two Lambos in a crash. Dealer's sticker price on EACH car: $200,000!
That brought back a memory of an incident that happened back when I was a freshman in High School. Yes, I know... that was before oxygen was invented. Anyway I attended a Catholic High School my first year. Just after Christmas break, two seniors decided that it would be a good idea to make a Sunday appointment with the local Buick Dealer. (normally closed on Sunday back in those days) We never did find out the total details, but they went to the appointment and my guess is that they ran into some resistance from the salesman so they grabbed a tire iron and smashed the salesman head in, obviously killing him and then took one of the cars for a joy ride. I forget the details of their capture, but I think they had an accident, abandoned the car and headed back to the dorm with blood all over their clothes and another student reported them when the car and body was discovered later that day.

What a shock for the community which was a small city that to my knowledge didn't have anyone living there that had even heard about any murders previous to that. That was in January of 1963 done by two boarding students from NYC. Rich folk! So child entitlement and immorality has existed for a long, long time. The tuition based High School never really recovered from the scandal, even though the school really had nothing to do with it. Before to long they had to close their doors. I left at the end of that school year because my Dad took a job in Vermont. BTW, we weren't one of the Rich Folks, we just happened to be member of the parish that sponsored the school, so there was no tuition for our family.

Sorry, had to chime back in...
OK, so I’m watchin’ “Chopped” on “Food Network” and one of the first items for the appetizer round is a $2 full-sized bottle of “Cabernet Sauvignon”...I really wanna’ know who vints that...”Boone’s Farm”...???!!!!! :hilarious:
Hey, say what you must but I spent a good part of my enlistment consuming Boone's Farm Apple Wine interspersed with Boone's Farm Strawberry Hill Wine. Cheap but higher priced then Ripple which was one notch about boxed wine at the time. Ripple was the wine of choice for the lower class. ;) 🍷

OMG Boones Farm in my drinking days consumed a lot of that is it still made? I can remember it was the end of the month before pay day (in the service) no one had any money so we pooled in a big pot any and all liquor any of us had left. I can remember it was a nasty brown color and tasted like dog ______ but after the second glass who cared ---Oh to be 19 again-- if I did that now I'd never recover

Yes, the do come from all walks of life, but these two were from the upper crust. Had money and a whole easy life ahead of them. Because they were both under 18, I don't know how many years they got, but because of the degree of awful this was and because they showed no remorse at all, I hope they got life. Whatever future life they actually had, I'm sure money softened the blow and they being alive came up better then the guy who was just trying to make a living for his family and ended up dead. After all these years, I don't think I have ever lost my anger about it.

Maybe I need some of this....
